“It's a little delayed, but I figure better late than never. My sister passed away YEARS ago and was buried on Long Island. My parents purchased plots when she passed, and since then we had moved to California. On July 29th of 2025, my mother passed away after years of making it clear that her only wish was to be buried with her daughter, across the country. Dodge Thomas was my third call, after being recommended by a relative, as I tried to make final arrangements for my mother as she was on hospice. Mind you, we're in California. From the first call, I dealt with Blake. To say I was impressed is an understatement. From California to New York, Blake arranged everything. Once she passed and I called Blake, everything was set in motion. As for the services (wake, mass and burial), Blake (and the entire staff) went out of their way to make sure my family and I were looked after, that we were taken care of, and went out of their way to make sure that my mom's services were conducted with care, integrity, and honesty. Through the darkest chapter of my life, Dodge Thomas proved to be a kind, respectful, honest and caring beacon of light. For that, I am eternally grateful. Unfortunate to have met under these circumstances, but for any end of life arrangements, I cannot recommend Dodge Thomas enough. 20/10.“

“My mom suffered from cancer before she passed and did not look like herself. My siblings had decided to have a closed casket. Rich the funeral director assured us that his team would make her look like she did. When we arrived he stood in front of the casket and said my mom was a beautiful woman and it would be an injustice to have a closed casket but if we were not satisfied he would respect our wishes. The resemblance was uncanny and she looked as though she was asleep. They were very respectful and treated us like family. Guided us through every step and allowed us to grieve. The facility is always impeccably clean and looks grand, as if it is ready for a grand opening at all times. I had the privilege of working with the funeral director, Ralph Faiella, who displayed professionalism from our very first conversation and demonstrated a genuine sense of empathy for the loss of my loved one.

There were no gimmicks involved; Ralph was straightforward and honest throughout the process. In my effort to make an informed decision, I visited approximately 25 other funeral homes, but ultimately, I returned to Sisto. Ralph set a high standard that others failed to meet.

Upon arriving at the funeral home, I was also greeted by two other gentlemen in the office who were equally welcoming. Although I regret that I do not recall their names, I recognize that this is a family-run business, and these gentlemen are essential in maintaining their outstanding customer service. Ralph guided me through the entire process, remaining communicative and informative at every step.

The day of the funeral was exceptionally challenging, yet funeral assistants Jose and another gentleman—whose name I cannot remember—provided remarkable professionalism and support. They treated all the guests with kindness, and I will update my review once I obtain their names, as they deserve recognition for their exemplary service.

I must commend them for the care they showed my mother; it felt as if she were their own family. My family and friends were profoundly moved by how beautiful my mother looked at the services. The mortician, who is also a family member, possesses a truly divine gift.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the send-off they provided. Ralph, thank you for your assistance during this difficult time.
