I can’t say enough good things about Besnik and the incredible job he did renovating my Bronxville apartment. It’s an older Art Deco building, so nothing about this project was straightforward — but he handled every challenge with care and skill.
He removed dated tile flooring to reveal and restore the original hardwood underneath. He also repaired and refinished all the walls, added molding details that really complement the building’s character, and updated both bathrooms beautifully.

I've been going to Mr. Lee's shop for many years, and have always had great experiences. He has re-soled and also patched and repaired lots of work boots, cowboy boots, dress shoes and others, keeping alive various Luccheses (including my oldest pair, nearly 40 years old, that I wear all the time). His work is excellent and he is pleasant and professional (if a bit quirky, which I enjoy). Prices are fair. People in this trade are a dying breed, we need to appreciate and respect the ones we have.
Incredible! I am someone who will not settle when it comes to finding an honest and affordable provider, but found this task a major challenge for HVAC repair — robot answering services, lack of transparency on pricing, and always a vague feeling of being scammed. That is, until I met Janncy of G2G. Janncy came to our house within an hour (!!!) and immediately fixed an issue with our HVAC wiring at an affordable price. He’s also a nice, family oriented guy, who worked around our crying (er, screaming) baby with a kind attitude. We will definitely call on him for all of our future HVAC needs. I’m so relieved to have found someone we trust on such an important service!

Vintage is a less a contemporary hairdresser and more so a guild of craftsman. They handily deal with my longer-than-medium length hair and I leave my bi-monthly trim feeling nothing short of amazing.
Bernardo always goes above and beyond, from nape to eyebrows. And bonus: he plays the mandolin professionally.

My mom and grandma have been going here for years and now I know why! I got a regular pedicure and a gel manicure that were both done quickly and perfectly. I couldn’t find a single lump, missed spot, or uneven area at all - I’ve never had a more precise nail service! Furthermore, I was shocked that my gel mani lasted nearly 4 weeks without a single chip. The staff is lovely, the store is clean, the prices are reasonable and the value is incredible - I highly recommend this salon!

I have gone to Gisele for haircuts for a few years and have been very impressed. However, I remained loyal to my NYC “fancy” colorist of 20+ years.
Well, as my colorist has now left NY, I very nervously asked Gisele to color my super fine and fragile hair into a very specific look - with lowlights, highlights and base color already in my hair. Gisele did a better and more beautiful job than I could have imagined. I am simply in love with the result. Plus she did it with NO damage to my hair, which now looks and feels healthier than before.

I have been going to Gjoko's Spa and Salon for thirty very happy years. Gjoko's coloring and cuts have been terrific. I just wash and sleep on my hair and it falls into place thanks to Gjoko's deft styling. I get many compliments. The entire staff is very pleasant and the salon is elegant.
I have been coming to Jean for my lashes for approx 3 years.
She is wonderful with a light touch. I used to get my lashes done in the city and they were ok but sometimes were uncomfortable (too close to my lash line) and seemed to twist and fall off within a few weeks. For some reason when Jean does my lashes her glue application is much lighter and finer and I think this is the reason the lashes stay on much longer (5-6 weeks). The studio is small and cosy (with lovely music on always) with a super convenient location in the middle of Larchmont with town parking just outside the door. Try Jean -- she (and all the technicians there) are wonderful!!
I Can’t speak highly enough About Jim. My mother lives in Larchmont, in an old house, and the fixtures are also old. We had a leak developed, and Jim answered right away. He was able to find replacement parts for the old Fixtures, And fix the leak at a very reasonable price. We’re having him look at the rest of the house, to see what else needs to be done.
Super helpful and really nice staff. We need a specialty ordered part for our dishwasher and they helped find it and had it in two days. Definitely heading back there as we start bathroom and kitchens renovations.

Previously, I had worked with another local contractor who ended up being financially shifty, unreliable, and dishonest. So I know firsthand how upsetting and costly it can be to hire the wrong person for something as important as the home you live in. What we loved most about Doug was his genuine care for you, your family, and your project. Instead of feeling constantly at odds with someone, Doug felt like a partner. He was always reachable and transparent. His kept lines of communication open and we felt any issues with construction and costs were addressed clearly and honestly. I dealt with Steve and he came up with idea to create a half closet for extra storage. The quality of work is excellent, especially considering the door sizing was abnormal and had to be custom. We took our 6-month-old Goldendoodle to The Cut Above Pet Groomer today for a puppy cut, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! After a not-so-great first grooming elsewhere, we were a little nervous—but they completely exceeded our expectations.
Our pup looks so handsome, and the care and attention they gave him really shows. The staff was kind, patient, and clearly experienced with young dogs. It made such a difference for both us and our puppy.
We’re so happy with the results and are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!
