“I just signed up for Homeserve yesterday, and am still in the ten day waiting period before the contract begins. Due to a poor distribution of heat affecting our main living areas, I called Homeserve this morning to see if they could dispatch someone on an emergency basis before the big storm this weekend. They were so helpful and got a technician in within 3 hours of my call! John was really thorough, kind, and did his best to address the issue. Turns out we have a major airflow problem, and there will be work needed in the future. He was able to quickly diagnose and rectify the problem for the time being. Thank you for coming to the rescue! “Mike and his team are some of the most talented plumbing and heating experts on the island. After moving into our new house 2 years ago (north shore of LI), we recognized we had a very extensive and complicated boiler room (not to mention quite a lot of bathrooms) that was giving us some problems. We had consulted with a few plumbing companies in the area, including some of the bigger ones, and none were really able to grasp the complications of our boiler system. We finally contacted Mike and Matt, and they were able to coherently explain what was going on and what all of the issues were. When we eventually ran into bigger problems with our wall boilers (a result of the prior owners not taking any care of them for a decade), Tumminello was our choice to revamp the entire boiler room with brand new equipment. They are truly experts at their craft (a lot of the technical aspects go over my head). Mike, Matt and their guys did such a great job and we're super happy with out it turned out. They always showed up on time and didn't leave until the job was done. Our boiler room is now much more efficient and organized and, most importantly, in working order (shoutout to Matt in particular for being a rockstar - he could be a rocket scientist for NASA; he also took the care to make sure everything looked perfect and was super organized). We've also used Tumminello for non-boiler-related issues (e.g., sink installation, leaks, clogs, etc.) and they've always responded promptly (and fairly). Truly a one-stop shop for all things plumbing and heating. Do not hesitate to use Tumminello. Very, very highly recommended!“

It worked out really well and even though it's ductless, the recommended BTU was able to cover the whole floor which is really a lifesaver during the summer.“

“My central air unit died. We needed to replace our central air unit and decided to upgrade to one with an air pump. John was great to work with. He came to take a look at the space and provided his recommendation and promptly sent us the quote after. We had gotten quotes from multiple places and their pricing was fair. He was very responsive and answered all of the questions we had. For any questions he wasn’t able to answer immediately he got back to us promptly with the answer. Seth and another guy was responsible for installing the unit on the day of. John came by to make sure the installation was going okay. The guys were quick and efficient with the installation. The job itself was very clean install of the unit and they covered the pipe going down the side of my house so it looks a lot better! They completed the installation all in one day, which was great! They took away the old unit and cleaned up afterwards.

We also ended up upgrading our thermostat. John was accommodating and sent Seth back at a later time (after we received the new thermostat) to install the new thermostat. It took a bit to get the heat pump working but ultimately it was all done and John and Seth stayed to make sure both the everything was working. So we were very happy with how the project was handled and completed.“
