Unfortunately, should you start a more intimate interaction such as asking about your contacts order, the vibes only get more hostile and escalate more to a did-I-just-grow-another-head affect.

I don't know, maybe I've only come here during everyone's afternoon slump, or maybe the front-of-house folks are trying to adjust their attitudes to match the place's upscale art-deco branding, but I feel like it shouldn't feel quite this tense to go to the eye doctor. Given that the actual vision care is of good quality, I plan to return, but just thought I'd give some food for thought here!!“
