Ive never had such a positive and loving euthanasia experience. I recently rescued an orphaned 2 - 3 week old kitten. Hospital Manager Tania rescued me when I couldn't get him to poop! So happy to have this excellent vet team nearby.“

1403 Fulton St, Brooklyn“They saved my baby! The previous vet I visited suggested I consider putting her down because treatment would cost thousands, but I followed my gut and came here instead. The staff was incredibly helpful; they took the time to talk to me and break down every detail of her care. I was also given a very fair price for her treatment and food. Thanks to them, I get to spend this Christmas season and many more with my baby Nova!“

9AM - 6:30PM
764 Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn“10 out of 10 service from Heart of Brooklyn Veterinary Hospital!
I can’t say enough good things about this team. When my dog managed to eat an entire pack of chocolate chip cookies (yes, the full pack ?), I was completely panicked. I called Heart of Brooklyn, and from the very first conversation, I felt like I was in good hands. They got us in right away and treated the situation with the urgency and care it needed.
Keesha, the manager, went above and beyond to help me through a stressful time. She connected me with Positive Tails, a nonprofit that helps cover veterinary expenses in emergency situations. Thanks to her help, I was able to secure a grant that significantly offset the cost of my dog’s care. Without that support, I honestly don’t know how I would have managed.
This hospital doesn’t just care about pets, they care about people, too. They treat you like a partner in your pet’s health, not just a number. Their compassion, transparency, and commitment to accessible care are unmatched. From the front desk to the techs to the doctors, everyone was wonderful.
Heart of Brooklyn is truly a gem. If you’re looking for a vet that blends medical excellence with real empathy and community-minded care, this is the place. Thank you again to Keesha and the entire team! You saved my dog!“

“I have taken 2 cats' there. When my 1st was sick and eventually had to be put down, Dr. Max and the staff were wonderful. Helping me figure out what was wrong and explaining things to me as far as maybe putting her down. They took my second cat no problem and were just as great with treating her. She has anxiety and a heart murmur and again Dr. Max was wonderful with her. When I was getting ready to move out of the state I asked a lot of questions about how to travel with her, medication, etc... They are a wonderful place and I recommend anyone take their pets there.
