After several attempts to commit to getting back in shape, I finally walked into Live Fit in Old Tappan and John’s first words were simply, “Finally.” It felt like he had been waiting for me all along.
Starting again at 60+, out of shape, overweight, and dealing with everyday aches and pains wasn’t easy. But for the first time, I’m making time for myself and I’m so glad I did.
The vibe here is incredible a true old-school guys’ gym feel with great energy. Everyone is welcoming and supportive. John, Tony, and Lucas are fantastic, and we can’t forget Daisy, who adds her own charm to the place.
My early morning sessions are intense, full-body workouts that push me in the best way. I told John my goal was simple, I just want one ab muscle! Knowing him, I might end up with a full six-pack. He truly understands the body, incorporates great stretches, and somehow makes me walk out feeling years younger. A miracle worker.
Beyond the workout, it’s also an hour of great conversation, music, laughter, “name that tune,” and John’s legendary storytelling. Honestly, I hate when the session ends… but life goes on until the next one.
If you’re thinking about starting no matter your age or shape, just walk in. You won’t regret it.“

I didn’t know anything about working out, weight lifting or eating right. When I saw two of my very close friends completely transform their bodies after joining Sync, l had to check it out for myself. Joining Sync Fitness has been one of the best decisions of my life. This place entails real results, for real people. It’s a judgement-free zone for all types of people. Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate or an expert gym rat, you are guaranteed to benefit from everything that Sync provides (i.e. training classes, meal plans, etc.). Even though I’ve only been with Sync Fitness for a year and a half, my life has completely changed for the better. I went from not having a clue about proper form for exercising and weightlifting, to walking across stage for an OCB bodybuilding bikini competition. Whatever your personal fitness goals may be, you are ensured to meet them with the trainers at Sync Fitness. The pricing, the training, the meal plans and the trainers themselves are all worth every cent to create a better version of yourself. I am a very hard critic when it comes to a lot of things, so with that being said, I am proud to be a Sync Fitness client and can whole heartedly say THIS PLACE is IT. If I could give 10 stars for this place, I would. No complaints at all! :)“

Only gripe I would have is that traffic can be quite congested on Route 59 from Nanuet heading to the location in Spring Valley.“

“The Gym in Englewood, NJ is not just a gym. It is a full-scale factory for better bodies, better moods, and better standards. The facility is clean, polished, and run with the kind of professionalism that makes most other gyms feel like abandoned warehouses with treadmills. A huge reason for that is Andrew, who is absolutely phenomenal with clients and guests.
