385 St Georges Ave # B, Rahway“When my parents were looking for an aftercare to place me in, they found Tigers Martial Arts Academy. There, I learned the basics of taekwondo such as poomsae, sparring, and power kicks along with life lessons such as discipline, focus, perseverance, and patience. Through rigorous training from my instructors, I reached the first and second degree black belt. Currently, I teach younger students and contribute to the taekwondo community. I will continue taekwondo because success in taekwondo is a journey, not a destination.“

The community is incredibly welcoming and supportive, and I’ve made what truly feel like lifelong friends. The practice blends movement, musicality, awareness, and presence in a way that goes far beyond fitness. Mestre Gaivota and the instructors are deeply caring and thoughtful. A true gem in the area for all ages and fitness levels. Looking forward to training here for years to come.“

The instructor was so warm, the class was challenging, and there were some unique aspects of yoga and mind body integrated into the Vinyasa flow. I learned some new things and also felt very welcomed and supported.“

568 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair“I did a class here recently and honestly loved the vibe. The studio is super clean and homey, and everyone was really friendly from the second I walked in.
You can tell the manager and instructors actually care about what they’re doing. It doesn’t feel intimidating, and they seem really focused on good form and helping people move well. I didn't feel rushed through the workout at all.
It feels like the kind of place where you’d feel comfortable whether you’re brand new or have been doing Pilates for years. Definitely a great addition to Montclair!!“

154 S Livingston Ave, Livingston“We are incredibly grateful for the exceptional care our son received from Shoshana at Pediatric Potentials. We began working with her when he was less than two months old to address torticollis and a side preference. From the start, Shoshana was warm, nurturing, and extraordinarily patient, both with our baby and with us as first-time parents. She gracefully paused between stretches and exercises to soothe him or give us time to comfort him ourselves.
Shoshana guided our son through remarkable progress, taking the time to explain each step and providing thoughtful instruction so we could confidently continue his exercises at home. She also answered our many questions about infant development with care and depth. Her expertise and genuine compassion made a tremendous difference, not only in resolving the issue she was treating but also in helping him meet his physical developmental milestones overall.
The results of her work were clear: our son no longer has a side preference or pronounced neck tilt, and his head shape has become noticeably more symmetrical. His temperament improved as well, which we believe stems directly from the reduced tension in his body. Shoshana's guidance, reassurance, and encouragement were essential to his recovery, and we felt supported throughout the entire process.
We cannot thank Shoshana enough for her compassion, expertise, and gentle care. After our experience with her, we can say with complete confidence that our son was truly in the best hands.“

It's wonderful to have a variety of choices when looking for a class. I'm always assured that I will be attending a well planned and thought out class. I am confident that my safety is considered and I can be as challenged in a class as I want. Students can find what they need no matter their level. The owners are also lovely and eager to help you start your yoga journey or expand an existing practice. I feel so fortunate to have this studio and yoga family, as I've been attending for over 15 years.“

53 Main St, Madison“I love Club Pilates Madison! Their instructors are high quality and they have a variety of styles so you can get good variety out of your membership and different levels of classes and difficulty. They have been very accommodating and responsive when I had to pause my membership for a brief period due to a health issue and when any other issues came up. The instructors are pretty good about giving alternatives if you are not able to do something and allowing the class to be personalized if you have any specific body issues where you can't do something. I personally recommend getting an unlimited membership because you get to sign up for classes earlier and the spots can fill up fast. When I had an 8x a month membership, it was harder to get a spot in the classes but the waitlists for classes do move.“

Walk through Ono Bowls to the infrared heated studio with high ceils with chandelier fans, full Buddha mural wall and mirrors to check your posture. Her voice is calming, the movement is activating and you will leave feeling renewed. Her workshops are fresh, she has wellness Wednesdays with private massage sessions by CitiZEN Mobile Massage. Her most recent event, Self-Cae Social included an outdoor wellness market on Quimby St with next level classes inside the studio.I am most excited for her Farm Yoga FEST this fall. Animals and yoga sign me up.“

347 Lincoln Ave E, Cranford“This is the second time this year I’ve come in with a stiff neck — whether from yoga, sleeping wrong, or possibly even a limp hotel pillow — and once again she worked her magic. I walked in barely able to turn my neck to one side, and left with real relief and much better mobility. I’m so grateful for the care, skill, and attention she puts into every session. She consistently helps me heal and get back to normal so quickly. Highly recommend!“

“Dr. Bacall is a fantastic chiropractor and also a great guy! I wouldn’t go to any other chiropractor. I also go to his practice for neurofeedback which has completely changed my life. I used to have horrible anxiety and by using this non invasive technique I have greatly reduced the stress in my life. Highly recommended!!!“
