“If I could give a million star rating I would. Dr. East saw our boy Todd first last week for what we hoped would be a routine check up, upon exam she immediately noted a large abdominal mass and recommended gold standard veterinary care and referrals. She handled our boy with kindness and compassion as well as discussing all of our options thoroughly and answering all of our questions. Yesterday we saw Dr. Ratcliff who also treated our sweet boy with the same dignity, respect, and high quality veterinary care. Completing the first steps of testing for his cancer diagnosis, and carefully selecting the medications he needed to be comfortable. She called us immediately upon receiving test results which unfortunately resulted in Todd’s final veterinary visit at the ER after hours. We were told where to go, what may happen, and Todd’s records were immediately sent out. This vet clinic is efficient, compassionate, and how every vet clinic should be modeled after from the technician’s fear-free approach, the doctor’s high quality of medicine, and the office staff’s efficiency. The office is clean and well thought out to be “fear free certified” which is just another sign of how important your animal’s experience is to this hospital’s staff. Because of this clinic, Todd did not suffer or feel any pain in his final days, and we are forever thankful for that. People like this vet hospital make the world a better place. Thank you.“
“This was the best medical experience I have ever had human or pet. The doctors were incredibly thorough. The care was top notch. My vets were nicer and took longer to talk to me than human doctors and surgeons. They followed up with calls as my cat was getting surgery to remove stones that were very large. They were so compassionate and I was so happy that my pet was getting such great care. It’s expensive. But you really get what you pay for.“

“Great care and wonderful staff! My dog is almost 7 y/o and has only been treated at BHVH since he was a puppy. BHVH has taken care of my dog’s common and not so common issues. My dog once swallowed a tennis ball whole. He also recently broke his toe. No matter the medical adventure with our dog, BHVH always provides fantastic costumer service and thorough medical care. They patiently explain procedures and medication. They also provide helpful recommendations re care. We moved neighborhoods and continue to choose a 40 minute Uber (each way), over bringing our dog to a different vet.“

“I want to thank the entire staff. They went well beyond job duties to provide comfort and condolences to our loved Foxy. From the minute you walk in, you can see the care they have for the family members that they are attending to. Compassion is what a lot of other vets lack. They treated my loved one as a family member. One staff member even cried with us. Foxy was a special one because she overcame many of life's obstacles before her time was called. They even sent a card with entire staff signing with messages. Give this place a try. The staff will not disappoint. The doctors are amazing, and just as a side benefit, prices are acceptable. “So today I went to go to the vetenarian to get my cat her vaccines. When I walked in a heard a very strange noise, almost like a growl but it sounded different. I was a little startled but figured it was just a large dog, everything seemed normal until the veterinarian told me to follow her… what I saw next I cannot even put into words, this was single handedly the most villainous, frightful and just down right pernicious thing I have ever seen: I will attach a photo to show what I saw but I am still in shock. Fortunately, I later found out that they ended up saving the Gorilla, so I will definitely be returning. This is an experience I will never forget.“

Euthanasia is always emotional, but they made us all feel so cared for, and supported. Dr. Pietrzyk explained everything so thoroughly, and gave us as much time as we needed before and after. I had never been to this practice before, but their kindness and compassion didn't make it feel that way at all.
