“It is hard to overstate our enthusiasm for the NY String Academy. The faculty members are exceptionally accomplished musicians with a real knack for working with children. Our daughter started violin in 2017 (when she was three) and piano in 2018 (when she was four). Her progress on both instruments has been remarkable, thanks to the expert tutelage of Reun Chung. As importantly, our daughter looks forward to her lessons. Ms. Chung makes learning both easy and fun - each of which is obviously critical when working with very young children. Additionally, the school is flexible and accommodating in scheduling, and offers instrument rental programs (at least for violin) that allow you to gauge your child’s interest/aptitude without having to first buy an instrument. In short, we wholeheartedly recommend NY String Academy.”

“I brought my son to Little Maestros down at MyGym in Tribeca front he time he was 6 months to a year. Every week was just a bit different, but what I noticed and loved the most was the consistency of every class. We had Lance and Danielle as our main teachers, but anytime we had a sub, they were all absolutely seamless in their movements, singing, everything. Truly impressive and you can tell alot of work, practice and preparation goes into this. Thank you so much Little Maestros for such a fun and entertaining class for the littles and this tired mom!”
