Our son has been with SOR Maywood since they opened and it’s been such a source of confidence for him. He’s a quiet kid and doesn’t open up easily but his drum instructor Chris is his buddy and he loves playing with his teen group. He’s excited for what’s next (so are we)
I've been with the School of Rock adult band for a few years, now. I was excited to find out that the program isn't just for kids- and they offer adult lessons and band, as well. I have learned so much from all of my guitar instructors. My skill has gradually improved over the years, and I'm even learning to understand the theory behind the music.
Joining the school of rock for me was a way to dive into a productive, healthy, and social hobby. As adults, we all come to the stage at different levels, but School of Rock Maywood does a great job of offering each musician the right challenge for them.

My 8 year old is extremely picky and he connected amazingly well with Myles (you rock and thank you!). Everything far exceeded my expectations. I loved the security at the door to be honest. It's great to know you don't just let anyone in since there are children involved. And the space is A Lot bigger than I had expected. While I was waiting, I saw the way older kids interacted with the staff and it was such a lovely sight! You could tell this is a place that they feel safe and comfortable. We're looking forward being part of the family.
