It is hard to overstate our enthusiasm for the NY String Academy. The faculty members are exceptionally accomplished musicians with a real knack for working with children. Our daughter started violin in 2017 (when she was three) and piano in 2018 (when she was four). Her progress on both instruments has been remarkable, thanks to the expert tutelage of Reun Chung. As importantly, our daughter looks forward to her lessons. Ms. Chung makes learning both easy and fun - each of which is obviously critical when working with very young children. Additionally, the school is flexible and accommodating in scheduling, and offers instrument rental programs (at least for violin) that allow you to gauge your child’s interest/aptitude without having to first buy an instrument. In short, we wholeheartedly recommend NY String Academy.

Judy was wonderful, friendly, patient, and really took the time to understand my hair and what I wanted. I wanted to keep my hair long while giving it more shape and style, and she did exactly that. The layers look beautiful and give my hair so much movement and volume without sacrificing the length.
I also asked for front bangs, and I really appreciated how carefully she cut them. She made sure I got the look I wanted without cutting too much or taking away from the fullness of the rest of my hair.
This was also my first time trying a Milbon treatment, and I’m really impressed with the results. My hair looks so smooth, shiny, healthy, and beautifully styled.

Take my preteen boy for a perm, we showed Connie a picture of how curly my boy would like it and she would explain if she can do it to look exactly the same as the picture. Even my boy’s hair is not long enough but she still manages to do it to look 90% of the picture. We didn’t wait long and she’s efficient. We love the result!

I heard there are other good hairdressers as well, but I haven’t tried them except once. But that was a long time ago. She was great too. It does get busy here, so make an appointment in advance. It's Sunday. I just walked in, they're ready to have me seated. No wait. My typical color gel pedi, short cut, callus removal, very brief (2min) salt scrub massage, a rinse then followed by a 5 min massage each leg (not massage chair but that was nice and lasted longer too)

I had a wonderful time as per usual at Akane getting my hair colored and styled. I trust the stylists to do vibrant colors. Even though I’ve had to bleach my hair, it doesn’t feel very damaged at all, and they gave me helpful input on taking care of bleached hair. I enjoy the pleasant hospitality and the nice reclining shampoo chairs, so I can relax and even fall asleep during a deep conditioning treatment. It’s definitely worth the wait for an appointment.

I went here for the first time yesterday, and I was 120% satisfied with the haircut done by the owner, who has 35 years of experience. without a doubt the best massage of my life. i’ve been to so many massage places in bergen and passaic county, trying to find the right one. but after my first visit at Main K Spa today, i know i will be coming regularly! jenny took care of me and when i tell you she hit ALLLLL the pain spots with perfect pressure, i mean it. she is very communicative too and asks you how the pressure is (i like my pressure hard, and she definitely delivered!) they even have heating pads on the massage tables, which i’ve always been looking for because i have iron deficiency and run cold. i’ve had many massages where i’m just shivering cold the whole time and it’s not an enjoyable experience, and this was not one of those experiences. i did a 90 min full body massage for $80 (cash, it’s $88 with card) and they even included free hot stones! relaxing music, calm and clean atmosphere, and wonderful service overall!!!! i can’t recommend this place enough and am looking forward to my next massage already. call in advance (they get busy and it’s better than waiting!) and ask for Jenny and Irin - they’ll treat you right!

I'd like to especially call out CJ and Grace. I came to CJ (my primary therapist) following a complex ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair after a soccer injury. This type of recovery is grueling, but CJ made the process manageable with his professional, patient, and highly knowledgeable approach.
Five weeks post-op, I was struggling significantly with my range of motion. I was stuck at 70 degrees—well behind schedule—and my surgeon informed me that if I didn't hit 90 degrees by week nine, I would likely require manipulation under anesthesia. This was a stressful prospect.
CJ listened to my concerns, adjusted our sessions, and worked tirelessly with me. When CJ was out, Grace stepped in seamlessly. She was incredibly helpful, ensuring there was no lapse in the intensity or quality of my treatment. Grace’s ability to pick up exactly where we left off kept my momentum going during a high-stakes period of my rehab. Thanks to their expertise and dedication, we didn't just hit the goal; we shattered it—reaching 120° AROM and 130° PROM by week nine—and completely avoided the need for a second surgery.
I am now 4 months post-op and have already started small-step running. Both CJ and Grace are responsible, professional, and truly care about their patients' long-term recovery. I just completed 10 visits with Dr. Kang and I feel that the treatments are really working. I have suffered with back pain for 26 years and was seeking yet another chiropractor when I found this practice through a random google search.
Dr. Kang was the first practitioner I’d ever worked with who started by taking X-rays of my entire spine. These X-rays revealed that I have scoliosis in 4 different sections of my back! How had no other doctor discovered this before?? I began treatments right away and I’m finally feeling my pain begin to subside and my balance and posture improve.
Each session is 2 intense hours that feature a circuit of various traction machines. In every session, Dr. Kang also teaches me specific strengthening exercises to do at home and he ends every session with a chiropractic adjustment. Did I say it’s intense???
After 10 sessions we just took new X-rays and I am happy to report that there are dramatic changes to all 4 of my curvatures. I’m not at 100% yet but I know this comprehensive treatment is working!!

It was an excellent experience. The staff made me feel very comfortable. The doctor made me feel even more comfortable. It's embarrassing when you have to expose yourself to others. But they made it feel comfortable.
And explained thoroughly, what she thought was going on that previous dermatologists did not do I've been on several different medications. All injectables and oil creams, and none of them worked. She gave me a special powder and a special ice cream, and I see results already in 1 day. I have an appointment in 3 weeks and we'll see where I'm at. I can't wait to go back

J is by far the best groomer I’ve ever worked with. My dog is very hyper and also had leg surgery in the past, so grooming can be challenging. J was incredibly patient and never forced her to do anything. Instead, J took the time to gently guide her and made sure she felt comfortable throughout the entire process.

I began treatment with Dr. Kim at 43 after a (1) cancelled egg retrieval cycle due to poor response and (1) failed cycle after no embryos made it to blastocyst. All my numbers were low low. Dr. Kim told me to give it 90 days of treatment before trying again.
I drank the herbs, followed her list of daily supplements & activities, and did acupuncture twice a week. My next cycle was three months later and I had triple the response as initially! But my embryos tested abnormal. I immediately did another cycle and got (1) healthy day 6 embryo.
I believe Dr. Kim was instrumental in me getting my embryo. When discussing the treatment my fertility doctor was giving me, Dr. Kim suggested a low dose cycle due to my age. My doctor agreed and made the changes. That’s when we started seeing a response to the stimulation.
