I brought him a Gucci ring that had yellow brass showing, and after speaking with multiple other jewelers, I was repeatedly told that changing the brass to a beautiful white finish either couldn’t be done or wasn’t worth attempting.
Vasken was different from the moment I spoke with him. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, patient, and clearly understood the technical side of jewelry restoration and plating. He took the time to examine the piece, explain the process, and figure out how to accomplish exactly what I wanted.
And the result is ASTONISHING.
He completely transformed the visible yellow brass into a gorgeous, brilliant white finish that looks like white gold. The difference is unbelievable. The ring looks elegant, expensive, and completely transformed while still maintaining the character and details of the original Gucci piece.
