They begin with a coarse, thick, gravelly concrete slurry, and then turn it into an absolutely smooth flat concrete floor several hours later. Coming home to a flooded house in the middle of a snowstorm with a 3 year old and a 5 month old was less than ideal, but Randy and his team made it virtually painless. They were there within an hour of placing the call and began demo and cleanup immediately. Randy was calm throughout it all and kept us informed. He was very knowledgeable about water damage and mold, and he ensured there was absolutely nothing missed. The renovation came out BEAUTIFUL. “Creative Vision installed a beautiful hickory floor in our bedroom. I don't leave too many reviews but I thought this one was warranted. Any job is easy when everything goes perfectly. For me, the real test is when things don't go as planned.

When the installers showed up to start putting the floor in it didn't take long to see that there was a problem with the flooring itself. The installers notified me of the issue and suggested I call the owner of the company, Rick. Right away it was clear that Rick was concerned and interested in getting it right. Rick came out to the house and immediately agreed that there was something not right with the materials. Ultimately, what warrants this 5-star review is that from the moment Rick saw that the materials were not right he went into action and dedicated himself to solving the issue. Naturally, it took some time to get a replacement supply of hickory delivered and acclimated. During that time, Rick was in constant communication keeping us up to speed on where he was in dealing with his supplier and setting expectations. This consistent communication is extremely valued when there is a problem on any construction project.

Ultimately, Creative Vision delivered a beautiful product. Rick proved to be a great partner. And, a few extras were thrown our way for the inconvenience. I would not hesitate to go with Creative Vision for my future flooring needs.“

He answered all my questions and showed me several samples for the flooring. I made my choice and within a short time I was scheduled for installation. The 2 young men that installed the flooring were extremely professional and considerate towards me. 3 rooms completed in 1 day. I am quite satisfied with the end result.
Stephen called and asked how everything went. I told him I was happy with the end result.

“In January we had the carpeting in our LR & Hall replaced with luxury vinyl planking/tile. The entire process went very well. Rep came to the house with samples initially, we also visited the Hooksett sales office to view various products before deciding which product to install. Great variety on hand. Removal of the existing flooring and Installation of the new flooring was completed in one day. The installation crew, consisting of four individuals, was efficient, polite, and very neat throughout the process. We would recommend this family owned company to anyone considering a flooring project.“

“Response to the 1 star rating on behalf of JDS Flooring Associates LLC.We are disappointed to hear about the complaint filed against JDS Flooring Associates LLC (JDS) considering that JDS followed the same procedure with this customer as we do with all of our customers from the purchase to the customer service response. Please understand that JDS completes approximately 250-275 homes per year and have completed as many as 589 homes in a single year in our 18 year history. Our complaint and customer service record is sound and there are processes to follow.The product was purchased through a builder.The product was personally selected by the customer after many samples, styles and products were reviewed and discussed.The site was visited and inspected prior to delivery.The products were delivered for a minimum of 48 hours prior to installation to allow for acclimation.This customer has a wider product (5") so we would only recommend an engineered product for better performance, less cupping and shrinking based on New England weather patterns. Dryness and/or moisture, however, are still very important.This product is a first quality product from a very reputable manufacturer. When the checking complaint became recognized, JDS sent out our customer service person to inspect and understand the problem.The checking on the edge was visible in a couple of locations and was attributed to dryness.The dryness was discussed with the customer stating that it was actually in a very low range and needed to be higher. It also needs to be understood that this range is very unhealthy.We explained that when the humidity rate reached a higher level (range between 40-60), allow some time for the environment to acclimate and, when accurate to the industry standards, we could and would fix the boards. We then asked them to contact us with any questions and any updates.We received a second call/complaint a few months later regarding this same issue. At this time, we scheduled an inspection with the manufacturer who agreed with our prior assessment but found the humidity levels to be much lower then the first visit. At this point, we communicated with the builder to discuss the low humidity levels. We also explained to him that we would return to repair the boards and that manufacturer agreed to provide product after the humidity issue was resolved. In the customer's complaint to the Better Business Bureau (BBB), she stated that she was never told that the humidity needed to be at a certain range. This is health issue as well as important for all of the home's products. The builder informed us that he spoke with the customer about the process the same day as the complaint to the BBB. The builder is in the process of installing a humidifier system to help the customer and then we would be able to repair the boards successfully.The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business according the BBB and this case was closed.“
