I have to admit, we had some issues with communication at first which put me off. When I communicated that I was going to talk to a different contractor, the owner called me. He apologized and I think they fired the project manager who I was working with because of my issues. Either way, we got a new project manager, Alberto, and he was fantastic. The owner asked what he could do to earn my business and went above and beyond what I asked for.
They started when they said they were going to, finished in the time they quoted, and didn’t try to pull and fast ones on us.
I have never seen a company take more care to not damage property as they did. Everything was “red carpet” service (brown paper) but still. Everything they weren’t working on was covered and protected. They cleaned up all of their dust/scraps several times during the day and left my house cleaner than it was when they started!
As for the work they did, totally amazing. It’s exactly what we wanted (frame and install a new doorway, install a vented range hood in the kitchen). It looks great, works great, and I couldn’t be happier.
A shout out to Dustin Hertzog who was the one who did most of the work for us. One of the genuinely nicest guys I’ve ever met, dang good at his job, and a total perfectionist, which is an amazing thing when someone is working on your home.
If you have doubts about this company, don’t. They are worth every penny. I’ve had so many bad experiences with contractors and these guys erased every one of them. If I ever need anything else done or if we ever build another house, this is who I’m calling 100%.
I would give this man 10 stars if I could. I called him at 8:27 this morning (8/8/25) and left a message. I had a pretty good size dead tree that fell and was lodged In a Sycamore tree. It was leaning over my yard and could definitely be considered a widow maker. Sam called me back before 9:30. He was going to be on leaving Hickory for a job in Lincolnton and would try to come by on his way. I live in Vale. Sam called about an hour and a half later and said he would be here in 10 minutes. He was here exactly 10 minutes later. Sam looked at my tree and said he may be able to come back after he finished in Lincolnton. If not he would try for tomorrow. Sam went on his way. At 5:35 this evening Sam called back and said he would be here in 20 minutes. He was in my driveway in 20 minutes. He took down the dead tree and did his best to save the Sycamore tree that the dead one lodged in. This man did exactly what he said he would do. And his price was more than fair. I know this review got long and I normally don’t write reviews. But I think the world needs to know that today I met a man that is as good as his word. Sam is amazing.

Morgan is a super talented hair stylist!! The atmosphere was very welcoming, and so was she. She's very professional and friendly, and I instantly trusted her from the start. I came in with a butchered haircut, and she fixed it up perfectly. I was honestly really shocked lol. I always felt insecure with shorter hair, but not after today. She definitely brought back some of my confidence. I'm really impressed and super satisfied with Morgan's work. She was super kind and did her best with what she had to work with, and she was even able to squeeze me into her schedule at the last minute. She also wouldn't let me leave until she knew I was happy with it, and I really appreciated her efforts in making sure I was satisfied. I am 100% going back in the future!!♡

I was a walk-in today actually and was greeted by two lovely ladies who were very sweet. One owns it and the other should definitely work there but i believe was just a friend either way they both helped me and were very kind to me . I will be back next week and I would recommend them to anyone wanting to find a chill spot with good people to do a little shopping .

Sabrina is the absolute best in the game. She makes you feel so comfortable, confident, and you leave feeling your best self. I have never felt comfortable being completely naked in front of another woman for any reason until Sabrina started spraying me. I have flawless results every single time, and I never feel the least bit self-conscious while being sprayed. I stay Spray Tanned around the clock now pretty much because nothing feels better than having a great Spray Tan and I promise this will be better than any self tan you do at home.

After poor-quality service left my sensitive nails brittle and full of pain, I gave up on nail salons. Then, my husband came home with a gift card. I’m so happy he did. I’ve been back several times to see the owner, Moon. She is knowledgeable, caring, and kind. My busy schedule makes it hard to book far in advance. However, I’ve never had to wait long for an appointment, and I even got in last minute today! Not only is she a talented technician, but it is also apparent that she is an astute businesswoman. Moon has created a warm and inviting environment where it is apparent that she is keenly aware of all of the interactions happening around her. I highly recommend a visit!

I came in with torn and bleeding cuticles and a very bad eczema flare-up on my arm. I was so embarrassed by how my nails and skin looked and was very anxious to make an appointment. I had heard that getting acrylic nails helps prevent excessive damage from scratching during a flare-up because it thickens and smooths the edge of the nail, so i wanted to try it.
My nail tech Mau was incredibly sweet and did an amazing job on my nails. She made me feel understood and helped me relax and enjoy the process and helped clean up my torn cuticles so they can heal better. When I explained my nail goals she even gave me extra tips on how her other customers with eczema treat their breakouts, as well as how to make my new nails last longer. I am recommending all my friends come here, and I won't be going anywhere else when I need my nails done in the future. Thank you so much, Mau! ?

Kailyn is amazing. Firstly, I had a wonderful experience during my first visit. Today, she cut my little granddaughters hair. My little one has a very sensitive head. She loathes, getting her hair brushed. However, Kailyn's sweet and calming voice and her excellent skills, her hair was cut in no time. My little one was feeling so good about herself, and not one tear was shed. A future appointment is already booked.

Donna is the best as a general rule nobody else touches my hair. If Donna's not there she will get Angie to do it and Angie is a jewel too. But sometimes if neither one of them is there McKenzie has done it and the new girl did it one time Michelle but everybody is super people they're like one big family. Donna keeps up with everything new and she's a wonderful loving person she loves everybody and is so good to her seniors as well as everyone else. This place should be like a 10 out of 10 instead of a 5 out of 5. Another thing she is so good about helping people who are just starting in the business letting them come and work at her place so they can learn I think that's awesome too. The customers feel at home like family with one another as well as with the cosmetologist.

I never had one complaint. I’ve had several piercings done in the shop and have never had issues. If I have any concerns I’m always called and asked questions. After the fact they are more than happy to help with anything that I need.
i had a great experience here!! i got my septum pierced here last week, it was my first piercing other than my earlobes and those were done at claires and were a disaster, i was really really nervous but my piercer was sooo sweet and it was over quickly and didn’t hurt super bad!! me and my mom came in as a walk in appointment, initially we forgot my birth certificate so we had to actually leave the shop and come back but we didn’t have to wait long at all and the piercing aftercare instructions they provided have been working like magic, i have had no issues with healing so far and overall it’s been a great experience. amazing price too, i’m planning to come back here to get a lip piercing once my septum heals!!

When I called, the person answering spent as much time as needed to determine exactly what I needed and make sure I wasn't going to pay for a house call unnecessarily l. House call was prompt and all locks changed, even fixed several issues with the current deadbolts. All the key copies work well, unlike the cheap key duplication at big box stores. Pricing was very reasonable for all the work completed. Everyone was very friendly, professional l, and helpful. I'll certainly use Keevers for any service needed in the future!
I have used Jem Clean in the past and have always had such great service. We had 2 sofas cleaned recently. The parts they cleaned look fantastic but we can def tell there are some areas that were missed on the edges and ends of the cushions. I sent an email asking if I could text pictures and left a voicemail and haven’t received any communication back. Disappointed that no one has contacted me to discuss this.

Church's Carpet has excellent products with an experienced local installer at a very competitive price. New LVP Mohawk Puretech Plus flooring (Made in the USA) installed 3/25, and the finished floor is great. I got a quote from Lowes for Stainmaster, and Church's was very competitively priced with a superior product. Steve and Frank are really good people to deal with.

In 2021 we chose DDI for our dream home build after meeting with several contractors. They were prompt and very positive when we met. This was huge as it was during the COVID supply/inflation issues. Several contractors we had met with were hesitant during this time. Dustin's attitude was a breath of fresh air.
During the process, the team was very easy to work with, returned all calls/text within a timely manner, addressed any issues that arose, and delivered quality work.
Additionally, we enjoyed that they have an initial meeting to get a game plan. They give spreadsheets in advance with all the items you will need to pick so that you do not feel pressured when the time comes. Michelle is the sweetest soul. The DDI team are truly the best people, most kind and willing to help.

I have a challenging property to deal with mosquitoes and Mosquito Authority always address any of my concerns. We were having some landscaping done at our house and I didn’t think that they were able to serve our house as normal. The landscapers were complaining about mosquitoes, which they never do. Mosquito Authority came out immediately to address our concern and make our landscaping crew comfortable.

I had an awesome experience with this grade A company with grade A service. My work parking lot was in a dangerous situation from a rare snow during a deep freeze. From the first phone I made until the job was done, they had excellent service. They came out directly after and scouted the parking lot and we made a plan. They took care of all of the snow and deep packed ice. They then came back out the next day with a platoon and got all of the salt and what not up and made sure everything was safe for my employees. I can't imagine how well they do in summer landscaping with how well they took care of me during a winter storm during a deep freeze. My employees all commented on how well the job was executed and I will 200% be using them going forward. This family takes pride in their work and it shows! 10/10!

Dan & crew the BEST! I tried to save this sycamore tree for3 years, Dan says, take it down, it would've crashed everything around it . Five hours they took it down. Very clean job. :)Very professional crew .!! They worked around powerlines, house,carport,fencing. Awesome job.

This was my dentist office for a few years until I moved to Winston-Salem. I always saw Dr Thomas I don't know where these negative reviews come from. When I went there my wait time was very short the staff was very friendly always greeting me with a smile. If I still lived in the area this would be the dental office I would still be going to
I chose Bethlehem Dental following the loss of dear Dr Hyatt. I was extremely pleased with the cleaning I received. I also had to have a cavity filled, ?, but the staff put my mind at ease. The staff was very professional and welcoming. They are building on to the practice. They certainly put my mind at ease.

The moment I walked in to the office I was greeted by a friendly smile by Carol! The office is very aesthetic and clean. The hygienist that cleaned my teeth , Megan, was beyond excellent! She took care in checking my gum tissue for health and she was very gentle. Dr. Robbie was friendly and easy to talk to. He filled a tooth for me and I never felt a thing! I am so happy to make Lake Hickory Dental my new dental office. I would recommend it to everyone!

My initial appointment with Dr. Shook couldn’t have gone better. I am thrilled to be working closely with a practitioner who takes the time to listen to my symptoms and concerns. Dr. Shook has a great way of explaining the “why’s” behind symptoms and outlining attainable, realistic plans to heal. no pet parent wants to take their babies to a vet let’s be real. but if there’s one i’m going to go to for the rest of my life, it’s this one. my small 2y poodle dachshund had a small blockage in his bowels and no one i mean NO ONE would take him (yeah. imagine turning down an emergency gastro surgery… a life or death surgery) and one other vet that we were about to go to was charging us $5000 (with no payment plan options) simply because they knew no one else was taking in surgeries. It’s as if someone from above heard our prayers and the doctors here gave us a chance. Which I am BEYOND grateful for , I know that scheduling surgeries and handling animals is a lot of work which is why frankly a lot of clinics turned us down and I get that truly, I do. Most clinics book surgeries in the morning and this happened at 3:30pm.
Not only did they rush in Henry and take care of his surgery immediately, they also took care of an ear infection free of charge. And the surgery cost $1500 instead of the whopping $5000 quote that I got from a different vet.

Easy to schedule, friendly staff, and provided quick diagnosis and treatment options. Even though visit was for a specific concern, the veterinarian did a thorough check up of my dog.
We grew up and started our family in the area. I joined the military and we moved away for a few years and now we are back local. Our usual vet was Dr. Hill, the 1st one all the way through the younger one. We had good relationships with all of them and their employees. Upon returning, we weren’t welcomed kindly at all and decided things obviously have changed there and did not want to deal with that.
We searched and called this Vet. The staff on the phone was quick to get us an appointment which is really what we needed, quickness. The dogs needed to get a full check up with a new vet since moving.
When I arrived at the appointment the front desk staff was really just plain rude and unnecessarily short and left me guessing if I needed to sit down? Stay there? Answer questions? Where did I pay when I was done because no one said anything? etc.
The vet (Dr. Gruber) and our Vet Tech (Jessie) were great to work with. I really enjoyed them and I feel they were absolutely incredible with Max. I couldn’t be happier with that level of care. They really gave him a good once over which is what he needed.
Pricing was fair considering the amount of care Max needed. Time in and out was great, no wait (other than at the counter wondering what to do, where to go, and who to talk to).
I’m willing to put up with a little “uncalled-for sass”, if the vet is good with my dogs. I'll consider staying for now because of that. I hope they read this and make some changes with the people up front such as training, “encounter reviews” on the cameras, etc.

Blue Skies Veterinary has knowledgeable, thoughtful, and compassionate staff. Dr Wuest is the Best Vet around. He is concerned for the pet and for you. At Blue Skies, your pet's examination and most treatments are performed in the same room. I really like and prefer this method. They will give you all the options for treatments / sometimes surgeries, but they do not pressure you. Blue Skies is definitely the Preferred Veterinary Hospital in Catawba and surrounding counties!
My cat had a hurt foot ,called around and was able to get him in same day at Bethlehem Vet Hospital. I am so glad I found them.The receptionist was so kind and helpful.The vet tech and Dr. where so sweet and kind and very professional.My cat who is a bit on the wild side let them take care of his paw and we walked out of there happy , without emptying my purse. So very happy .I would highly recommend them and I will be back for future services.

Mark is amazing. I was nauseated from the amount of pain that I was experiencing. It was amazing to have a massage that literally relieved the pain. I really didn't have to tell him every area that was hurting because he understands the muscular and skeletal systems enough to know how it all is connected. He targeted areas that I didn't even know where affected.
I'm so grateful that I found Catawba Valley Massage Center. The massages I've had there so far have the best I've ever experienced. My body, mind, and stress levels are all better since I've become a client.
Is absolutely a phenomenal place to go? This is one of those places that they actually care about their clientele. Extremely friendly. And extremely knowledgeable of what they're doing and why? I personally rate this place at 100 stars.
Knee Y is an excellent therapist and a true professional. He is currently assisting with my chronic neck pain issues. I am placing this review after my 3rd visit. Knee is timely, listens to and seeks to address your concerns. I highly recommend his trigger point therapy services.

I was very skeptical when searching for a reputable massage facility after moving to NC a year ago. However, I was in desperate need of a medical/tmj massage so I decided to take a chance and try this establishment. I have been so impressed with the staff, atmosphere and experience at Custom Therapy Massage! Leta is hands down the best massage tech EVER, she is very intuitive and knowledgeable. She listened to my concerns and immediately understood what I needed to alleviate chronic pain. The facilty is beautiful, clean and inviting, and prices are very reasonable.
My daughter gave me a massage for my birthday. When I arrived I was attended to by a lady whose name was. ROSA GAVE ME AN EXCELLENT AND VERY. PROFESSIONAL MASAGGE..I relaxed quite a bit and came out renewed.....
