I stumbled upon their Instagram page and immediately knew that The Body Games was something I had to add to my regimen. This is a good supplement to my indoor cycling membership as it includes strength training. DJ and Dominque have been nothing but friendly AND encouraging. They encourage me to push myself, assist with my form, and actively help during the work outs. The environment is very inclusive. You will see people of all shapes, sizes, and ages there. I highly recommend this place! Plus it's a locally-owned Durham business!
I joined Body Games when they opened in 2020; the community is like no other -- everyone is so supportive and welcoming! Every workout is challenging and the focus on form/technique and mobility are game changers!
Bodygames is a great gym and community. I tried their 7 day free trial, and was so convinced I'd do well here that I went ahead and got a membership for a year. They have great childcare at no extra cost, and fun activities throughout the month. I've been consistently going for 4 months now, and already feel so much better. Before, I was 6 months postpartum and in the worst shape of my life. Everything ached, and I could hardly get out of bed without a lot of effort. I finally feel like I'm getting back to myself, and have no plan on stopping!
