I had the pleasure of having my dress altered at John Emily Studio, and I truly appreciated the time spent making sure my gown fit beautifully. While my dress was already stunning, there were a few areas where the experience could have been better. The alterations were fairly minimal, yet the cost felt high for the amount of work completed.
Some of the button loops in the back were supposed to be reinforced, but they came loose repeatedly throughout the day. I also asked about built‑in support, but was advised to use a sticky bra instead, which didn’t work well for me. I would have preferred to feel more heard during those conversations.
There was also some pressure to pick up my dress earlier than I was comfortable with. I had scheduled my alterations far in advance and wanted my final fitting closer to the wedding date, but the seamstress made me feel uncomfortable about that choice. I was already stressed from wedding planning, and her approach felt a bit aggressive.
I understand she is no longer with the studio, and I don’t want this to reflect on the business as a whole — but this was my experience.
Overall, I would still recommend John Emily Studio and I am happy with my overall experience.

I first met Lisa when I was dealing with arm and shoulder pain for about 6 months. After 2 months of PT and no relief, I sought her out for a therapeutic massage. It was not a “relaxing” massage, it was a healing massage and I was shocked that a few days later, the pain was gone. She is a miracle worker and will always be my first call for future needs. She also has an in-office sauna that I use regularly and I’m so grateful to have a welcoming and affordable place to support my physical and mental wellbeing!

This review is for Amber. I went to lumos this morning to get my hair done there for the first time. I was having a hard morning, was stressed and from the moment she took me back to her chair she made everything feel lighter. The hair wash and massage were SO relaxing, melted the tension in my neck away. She was so personable and kind the whole time. She KILLED my haircut in the best way. My hair has never looked better. I moved further away and switched salons. I thought expensive would mean high quality, but the color outcome was always just so so. And then on the sixth visit, the stylist did something totally crazy and colored the back half of my head a solid warm color without any highlights or blending with the front half?! I waited for a couple weeks to see if it would fade in nicer and it just got worse. Luckily Jen had a cancellation and was able to rescue this very obvious mistake two days later! She nearly erased it entirely. I’ll just make the drive from now on! She’s a hair color genius. Ashy blonde isn’t easy to match!

Karina did an exceptional job on my manicure! She's a very friendly, thorough, perfectionist. She skillfully removed my gel polish, then treated my nails like they belonged to a queen. Quality shellac polish was followed by a hand massage, moisturizers and hot towels. She's a one woman show there, but definitely worth the wait. Make an appointment and you won't be sorry. Her rates are also very fair. I'm thrilled, and will continue to have her care for my mani-pedi needs in the future.

I am so thankful I was referred to Tina.. In all my years of getting my nails done, I have never had anyone do my nails that actually cares about the health of my nails. Tina genuinely does and I love that. I was going to another salon for a couple years and my nails were in such horrible shape because of that electric sander tool thing (I’m not sure what that tool is called?) to remove the polish from my nail.After a couple months with Tina they are getting so healthy again. She only uses acetone nail polish remover and manually takes off my polish. NO ELECTRIC TOOLS!(Thank Goodness) Absolutely no short cuts for Tina! I highly recommend ☺️?? Not only are my nails getting so healthy, they always look so pretty every time I leave her shop. She does a great job with the gel color.
Been going here for over 4 years. Love their pedicures!! My last one in May was cancelled due to both pedicure employees moving out of state. Both gave great pedicures! I was so disappointed but called today and made an appointment with the new employees. Excited but hope they are as good as the others. Will let you know!

Jasmine is excellent! She is happy to see me and ready to go! Knows her product well and is very accommodating. Only after a couple of appointments did she provide me with the best manicure and gel application that suits the workout I put my nails through! She is very appreciative of my business as are the shop owners. Atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Give Style Nails a try!

Not only do they do a good job, they are fun, kind, and go above and beyond to make you happy. Which is so key because so many places do a good job the first time then after it’s like whoa. Not this place! I’m only sharing my secrets now bc I don’t live there anymore! They came to my home picked up my very precious rug from Afghanistan. I needed pet scents removed and no perfume or fragrance added. Not only did they completely remove the pet urine smell with no fragrance but the rug is softer than it’s ever been. The colors are so much more vibrant and rich as a result of the cleaning. Very highly recommend!

Brian and his team did it a wonderful job replacing my carpet and matching the laminate on my second floor to my first floor. From the time I got a quote to the time it was installed after a custom order was 1 month. Very impressed by their quality of work, excellent workers and communication throughout the process. They weren't the most cost effective option but their pricing is fair for the value they provide not outlandish in comparison and no weird sales tactics like the big companies. I'd do it over again. There's nothing like supporting a local business when their service is exceptional. They were recommended by a friend whose work was also excellent. Thanks to LP floors!!

We highly recommend Wolfe Construction Group. We had a great experience working with Wolfe Construction. They removed a wall for us and installed a 17 foot beam. They were polite and finished the job on time.
From my first interaction to the install, it was a flawless process. I made some changes to the plans and Joe was able to accommodate. The end results were two perfect overhead racks in my garage. I was able to remove totes and boxes from the floor and now they safely placed above, out of the way, giving me a lot more room in my garage. Definitely a much cleaner look.
My homeowners association hired Handy Andy to replace a portion of our fence. They were very quick to respond with a quote and had the job done in about 2 weeks. The estimate was the best around. Rodney was on site to oversee the entire project. I will use them for any of my personal projects and have already recommended them to my neighbors.
I feel very bad for this company based on the 1-star reviews that they are receiving. The issue with these scathing reviews is that they are directed towards a company sharing the same name, Omnia Construction Group LLC, but the other company in question is located within Florida — based on employee misconduct that was posted on TikTok. Your company seems amazing, and I would recommend that you reach out to Google in order to address these false/slanderous reviews.

I struggled for along time with lower back pain. Dr. Jenn listened to my concerns and developed a plan to rid my back pain from supplements, deep tissue massage to chiropractic care. I was forced to stop treatment due to finances but it's my dream to return to the office for regular care. The combination of cupping, scraping, and adjustments gave my back & neck the complete care it needed!

Truly the best massage I have ever had. If you’re going to any other massage therapist besides him, you’re missing out big time. Just wow! Brian is so knowledgeable, makes you feel very welcome and comfortable, and he has only 1 goal: to make you feel better. And that is what he did! I have been to many massage therapists, and I always have left disappointed and feeling just as tight as I did before I arrived. Brian is NOT that. Ann is absolutely wonderful and has been my lifeline with decreasing the pain in my foot from Plantar Fasciitis. She is also incredibly sweet and makes the whole experience very relaxing. I always feel so ‘light’ after our sessions and can’t wait for the next one!?

I first met Lisa when I was dealing with arm and shoulder pain for about 6 months. After 2 months of PT and no relief, I sought her out for a therapeutic massage. It was not a “relaxing” massage, it was a healing massage and I was shocked that a few days later, the pain was gone. She is a miracle worker and will always be my first call for future needs. She also has an in-office sauna that I use regularly and I’m so grateful to have a welcoming and affordable place to support my physical and mental wellbeing!

I highly recommend Jeanne at Serenity Now! I was able to book a last minute appointment for “A Quick Fix” and am very pleased with my experience. Most places don’t even provide 30 min appointments, so that was amazing for my wallet and time. Jeanne uses her own lotion which worked perfect for my sensitive skin and left me with a full aftercare routine (stretching/heating/cooling wise).
Bogan Frahm has been extremely helpful for my recovery after labrum surgery. He helped me get back on the court sooner than anticipated by greatly strengthening and improving the range of motion in my shoulder. He’s very knowledgeable and without him, I would not have recovered as quickly.
Had a bad accident at work, A 12 ft. Ladder that I was working on slipped out from under me and I fell about 9 ft and broke my back in 3 places. About 2 weeks after surgery and the hospital stay I had Brent, Said and Angie all from Thrive Now Therapy come to my house and work with me To help me get better ( at different times) and I couldn’t have asked for any three more awesome people! Very professional very nice! I wouldn’t Wish any kind of pain on anybody but if you have to have any kind of physical therapy, I would definitely recommend thrive now therapy.
