I had the pleasure of having my dress altered at John Emily Studio, and I truly appreciated the time spent making sure my gown fit beautifully. While my dress was already stunning, there were a few areas where the experience could have been better. The alterations were fairly minimal, yet the cost felt high for the amount of work completed.
Some of the button loops in the back were supposed to be reinforced, but they came loose repeatedly throughout the day. I also asked about built‑in support, but was advised to use a sticky bra instead, which didn’t work well for me. I would have preferred to feel more heard during those conversations.

Hands down the best place to get alternations done!! My sister got her wedding dress altered at their charlotte location so when I heard they had a new location in Cornelius I knew exactly who I was going to. Absolutely the best service with the kindest people. Highly recommend!!!!
The ladies here took such great care of my wedding dress! It was even completed before I expected. I can’t wait to wear it next week! I would highly recommend and will be coming back to preserve it with them. Thank you!
