I had what I thought was an emergency and they got me in that day. The doctor took lots of time going over things with me and even drawing it out for me to understand. Even checking out, the lady who did it was so nice. Again, so happy to have found this place. I had already found them and was set up for an appointment in eight months for his yearly check up. “This 5-star review is EXPLICITLY for Dr. Dena Sneed and Dr. Luk. I'm glad I waited to place a review, because my first experience with this location was with Dr. O, and oh...my...LORD! That was, by far, the most shocking and unacceptable experience I have ever had with a doctor. But let's move on from Dr. O for now. I wanted to give Advent another shot because I needed a new primary anyways. I met with Dr. Sneed and she was very attentive, caring, knowledgeable, and compassionate. She referred me to Dr. Luk, who has been absolutely amazing as well, and also deserves this 5-star review. Thank you Dr. Sneed, and thank you Dr. Luk. You are both doing amazing work and I am thrilled to have you in my corner looking out for my health. Dr. Luk went above and beyond to find a successful treatment for my autoimmune disorder and Dr. Sneed is an amazing primary, who cares to get me on the right track.

Back to Dr. O, I know Advent needs help and more qualified doctors applying (especially Rheumatologists), but unfortunately she is doing more harm than good - maybe she is financially beneficial to Advent, since she orders thousands of dollars of unnecessary tests and gaslights her patients by accusing them of ASKING for said tests...and even worse...gaslights them by trying to tell them, and I quote, "there's nothing wrong with you"...gross! Get rid of her, she belongs somewhere else as she does not appropriately represent what Advent is trying to do for the community.

“I've been going to Blue Ridge Pain Management now for quite a while. I got to the point where my pain was under control and I left for approximately 7 months but had to go back. I'm not one to take narcotics unless absolutely necessary and that's one thing that this pain management clinic knows about me. Of course they do other things besides give out medications. I was having injections for various conditions and I was being sent to physical therapy where I actually had what is called dry needling in my arms, where I was having pain for some unknown reason and the dry needling worked a miracle where the pain in my arms has never returned and I owe that suggestion to Spencer Maney. Dr. Buzzanell and Spencer Maney are both very professional and very personable and easy to talk to. So if you need someplace to help you deal with your pain in a multitude of ways, I recommend giving Blue Ridge Pain Management a try.“
