However, visitors should be aware that the office can be quite cold, so dressing warmly is recommended. Despite the limited access, this place is considered an amazing resource for the community.
I’ve been to many Planned Parenthoods in my life, but this one is my favorite. Every step of the appointment from check-in to check-out, I felt safe and comfortable. I appreciate that this location allows its employees to have a little personality, there were a lot of personal touches and little decorations that made me feel like the employees actually enjoy working there, which helped put me at ease. Everyone was very patient with me and helpful in answering all of my questions. I had been TERRIFIED to get my birth control implant taken out because I had read so many horror stories online, but I didn’t even feel it. Environment is helped here more than anywhere else in WNC, way more than by the Sierra Club; school tax too.
Human health is their first priority even if it's not mine.
I immediately felt safe and cared for, for my regular checkup/exam this week. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such compassionate care from a provider or nurse. What a great resource
