Edit: They already told me when I called their billing department about this issue that MAHEC was *not* a full FQHC. So just know this. Your labs may be totally out of pocket and it’s a toss-up. Go somewhere else if you are uninsured and need cost transparency.Beware, this office is not an FQHC. It comes up on the government search page but it is not. Proper FQHCs charge sliding scale and blood tests are included. I was charged $325 for some bloodwork and tried to work it out with MAHEC billing who said they got the office to accept my sliding scale payment. They had no notes on this. My name is Stephen Hensley. My Dr is a fantastic Dr. Dr gettenger has been my Dr for a few years now. He goes above and beyond in patient care. I was in hospital having 3 way open heart surgery & he was calling checking on me . The world needs more like him. & also everything thing else has been great too

I absolutely love my doctors and nurses here as well as 99% of the front desk interactions. Any issues I've ever had (especially with phone glitches) have been taken care of quickly and usually within the day. I can't thank everyone there enough and don't know what I would do without them.
