“Yesterday, I sat on my glasses. One of the nose pads broke off. I spent the rest of the day sad as the remaining plastic piece dug into my skin.

I’m only visiting Kansas City so I was resigned to just be uncomfortable for the next four days until I could get home and get my glasses fixed.

On my way to get coffee this morning, I walked past Vision Source. “Maybe they can fix my glasses,” I thought to myself. I walked in with low expectations: I had no appointment and I wasn’t a local customer.

The absolute angels at Vision Works replaced both nose pads on my glasses so that they were even. They cleaned the lenses and tightened all the screws. My glasses look new and they don’t hurt my face.

I would have paid literally any amount of money and they did it all for free in five minutes because, as they said, “Repairs are always free.”

“I have worked customer service for over 20 years and never in my life have been treated so badly! Front desk staff are rude, dont even get me started on their techs. I have been back to this office so many times because the prescription they gave me is wrong and I ordered a year supply of contacts and purchased a pair of glasses. Then when I finally find what works with me they try to tell me what I need. The tech was rude, and lacked any kind of customer service! I just left. I spend to much money on my eyes each year to have to deal with people that don't care about your well being!
I want to add because my last few experiences have changed. Dr. Bednar and Karrie have been amazing in fixing the issues! They are taking time to help me figure out the prescription. “I will forever be grateful for Dr. Loughman. A year ago I went in complaining of headaches, blurry vision and my right eye was drooping. As a healthy 37 yo this was atypical. I just kept thinking it was from stress. He was concerned after doing his exam and had me escorted by his staff down to the ED. We later found that I had a tumor behind my right eye in my sinus cavity. This is a sensitive area considering it is near my optic nerves, coratid artery and pituitary gland. If it hadn't been for Dr. Loughman taking my concerns seriously, who knows what could have happened! My family and I are forever thankful for his thorough exam and attention to my concerns.
