Hawthorne House was absolutely stunning for our wedding. The staff was very communicative throughout the whole process, and we would highly recommend this venue for couples interested in hosting their wedding here. I made the best decision to go with CH Roofing this year to replace my roof. I was going through a lengthy bathroom remodel that was horrific and full of delays. Christian was always on point with his check-ins with me to see when I was ready. He was always so kind and understanding , he an awesome man. He even suggested to me find an electrician to finish out the remaining work. Now that was going above and beyond. So , when it came time to repair my roof. The crew (6 deep) came at 7:30am on Friday and they were finished by 11:00am. They were all on point with their work and I hadn’t see a crew work so quickly and professionally. After they were done, Christian’s follow up was on point! I can’t rave enough about CH Roofing. I highly recommend them, if you want great service and quality workmanship. Alexa completely saved the day—she blended in beautiful dark and lowlights that match my natural color perfectly, with room to fade naturally. The crew did a great job cleaning up as well. Also, I just want to say that Brian helped me through the whole insurance process, so I didn't have to worry about it. Chris has been our "Go To Guy" since the early 90s. He has installed and maintained our heating and air conditioning systems and has never settled for perfection. His prices are more than reasonable and more important HE SHOWS UP WHEN HE SAYS HE'S GOING TO!!! (Chris showed up at my parents house on Christmas Eve in below zero weather and took care of a potential disaster.) We've never been disappointed!!!
We recently attended the first Art House Friday event at Centering Souls for the soft opening of our small home and garden studio. Education Therapy Center has been just what my son needed to help with his dyslexia. His tutor, Sarah, has been fantastic! She makes their time together fun, encouraging and challenging. We've been meeting two times a week for just under a year now and have seen significant improvements in my son's reading and confidence in school.

We went here for the first time today as a family: myself, a 5yr old, and a 2yr old. It was the kids first visit, and Natalie, our dental hygienist, was AMAZING with the boys! She made it fun and kept them interested in the process, I was especially impressed she was able to get the 2yr old to let her check out his mouth.
We will definitely be coming back, and using them as our regular office! And highly recommend it for families with kids.

I will start by saying this is predominantly my daughter’s project, though I am included in it behind the curtain. She is the one doing a holy moly hefty remodel of her home, and I have had a front row seat through the process and through helping fund much of it. I will say she has some very upscale and rather exquisite taste, so this was not exactly a simple little refresh.
From the planning all the way through the work being done, these fellows have handled things beautifully. My daughter has been working closely with them day to day, and if I am being honest she will not stop talking about them. Every time we speak I hear another story about how well something was handled, how responsive they are, or how impressed she is with the work. At this point I almost laugh because I hardly have to ask for an update anymore.
What stands out the most to me is the communication and transparency. I have worked with plenty of contractors over the years and that is usually where things fall apart. With this group it has been the opposite. Everything is explained clearly, questions are answered, and there is real openness about the process.
And I will say. As the father helping with the project, it has been a relief to feel like I can hand over my hard earned money and trust that these people and men are going to take good care of my daughter and her home. That peace of mind means a lot.
I work with contractors often and I do not say this lightly. This outfit is excellent. The whole experience has been phenomenal and I would gladly work with them again, especially when the time comes to update my son’s home.

I’ve been going to Riss Lake Nails since I moved to Parkville last year and I always have a great experience. I usually get an acrylic gel fill or a new set. I’ve seen several of the techs and every single one of them has been wonderful.
The salon itself is so cute and very clean, which I really appreciate. They’re always prompt and do their best to get everyone in as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality. You can tell they really pay attention to detail, and I always leave beyond happy with how my nails turn out.

Hitchfit is amazing! I 100% recommend to anyone considering a transformation. The trainers are fully vested and want to see you improve and move forward in your health / fitness journey. They don’t want lifetime clients; however, they will stay with you every step of the way. The help you set goals, provide a solid nutrition & weight training plan ; one that is sustainable and can be adjusted as needed. This is the only plan that has worked for me. You are taught correct portions and eat Whole Foods, not processed or pre packaged meals. Once you get a routine and focus on hitting that routine each day, it is easy. I’m down 23 inches total, about 40 pounds while gaining more muscle. My journey has been slower but in the long run more sustainable. I’m continuing to lose more and build muscle. This plan and transformation have helped me stay off medication to manage stress and anxiety. I look forward to continuing to improve! My only regret was not starting Hitchfit sooner!

My son began his taekwondo journey at Pride Martial Arts a year ago, and we have fallen in love with this place, the joyful, charismatic instructors, and the warm community. My husband and I joined in the fun taking classes a few months ago, and we love the challenge and the encouragement we receive. We couldn't recommend Pride with greater enthusiasm. Our son used to doubt his athletic ability, but he has received so much encouragement for his skills and good character. (We also love how welcoming the classes are to students of all backgrounds! It's a very accepting community!) A big thank you to Mr. Nakano, Master Palmer, and the whole team for making this experience so special for all three of us.
My husband and I built our home from start to finish with New Mark and, now two years after completion, are so grateful for such a smooth and positive experience. This house was our first experience with building and we felt pretty intimidated and on-guard going into the process based on some of the stories we had heard about building in general. We continued to be surprised at each step by how straight-forward and transparent it was. Every person we worked with truly felt like they genuinely were on our team and cared about the quality of their work and making the house our home. During the initial contracting phase, we were interested in making some adjustments to the floor plan, which New Mark's engineers took time to do before we had ever signed anything. The advice and considerations we received from each person were also invaluable, especially Michelle's guidance in making our selections! I am so thankful for her design skillset and her ability to learn our style and help us make selections accordingly, while intentionally working within the budget. We appreciated the consistent support and communication from our project manager regarding progress at each stage. We have also been so impressed by the integrity New Mark has demonstrated in promptly addressing and resolving any issues that have come up since completion, even recently, well past the end of our official warranty period. Thank you Billy, Mike W., Michelle, Mike R., and all of the New Mark team for the work you do!

My daughter has been doing Acro the past couple of months. I think it’s really cool how they have the younger girls helping the little girls. I also like to privacy the dancers get while learning their moves. She is very excited about the recital. Her costume looks adorable on her!
