“I first came to Best Friends about 6 months ago to put my dog Xenio down. Which they were nothing but accommodating, kind and very compassionate about what they do. Then a couple weeks ago I brought one of my other dogs Klein in for a second opinion on what has been making him sick since September. They were very determined to help figure out what was wrong. We didn't get the chance to complete his workup before he passed. So when they found out they were very sympathetic for what I had gone through once again. All the doctors I’ve worked with are amazing, although if I had to pick a favorite, it would be Dr. Hanson!<br><br>The clinic is always spotless, warm, and welcoming. The team is compassionate and truly cares about the wellbeing of your pets. They take the time to understand both you and your animals, and what I appreciate most is that they listen. They talk things through with you and don’t jump straight to expensive tests like X-rays or unnecessary procedures.<br><br>I also want to mention something very personal. When I had to put my little poodle down, I was devastated. As I searched for the perfect new puppy, I would send every potential one to Dr. Zieman. She always took the time to review the information and honestly tell me whether she recommended that puppy or not — and explain why. It took several tries, but eventually she said, “Yes, I would recommend this one.” That puppy is now 7 years old, and I absolutely adore her.<br><br>They’re also wonderful about answering emails immediately, which has saved me many trips to the vet — and of course, unnecessary vet bills.<br><br>I highly recommend Anderson Lakes Pet Hospital. Dr Mary just did a meet and greet with us when she saw that our pup just was too scared to go through an exam. Jesus is our spiciest chihuahua rescue, who absolutely loves going to the vet to see his favorite people. He howls out the car window until we arrive, walks through the door with a big grin and googley eyes, wagging his tail and batting his greying eyelashes, barely able to stop wiggling long enough to capture an accurate weight on the scale. Unfortunately, his switch flips instantly upon being touched or examined, and he turns into a tiny terrifying monster. But not for long. As soon as he's off the exam table and back on the floor, he's happy again and yes he will take the treats being offered and he thanks you very kindly. Thank you for caring for our pack.”

“Dr Adams and her staff are some of the kindest, most compassionate people I have ever met. My wife and I called the office hoping for a same-day appointment due to our dog starting to experience persistent vomiting spells. Not only did they call us back almost immediately, but they were able to see her within two hours of us calling. Dr Adams is extremely thorough and has excellent bedside manner. On top of that, the service she provided was significantly better than what we had received a day earlier at an urgent care. Additionally, the price of my dog’s intake appointment, medications, and follow-up appointment was cheaper than a basic exam at our previous vet. Unfortunately our sweet baby ended up passing away due to complications from her illness (myasthenia gravis, mega esophagus, aspiration pneumonia, and probably cancer). When Dr Adams saw the death paperwork from the emergency vet we had taken our dog to, she called almost immediately to express her condolences. I am confident in saying that if my wife and I ever get another dog, we are going to bring them to Southdale Pet Hospital.”
