“Everyone here is so nice! I recently got a rescue dog, and I had some questions that needed to be addressed before the weekend. They were able to get us in, no problem, and the gals on the phone/front desk were so nice and accommodating. Our dog became reactive to another dog in the lobby, and the staff got us into a room right away. I waited over an hour at my last vet for a simple rabies shot (it was not busy), so I liked their promptness.

Lauren took her time with us, which I appreciate. She was very kind and eager to answer any question, but also specified when something was beyond her knowledge/for a speciality vet. I had a list of questions and concerns and she was thoughtful and methodical about each one. She was also honest about my dog’s luxating patella, and didn’t try to sell us on an unnecessary surgery. Instead, she recommended taking a more conservative approach and to watch closely and use vet recommended supplements. I appreciate a more transparent approach that isn’t an upsell, especially when it isn’t causing pain or other problems!

I see people say this is more expensive (maybe by like $30 compared to my other vet), but it’s absolutely worth it! Going to a vet is never something a pet owner really looks forward to. So when I go, I like when:
- it is easy to call and schedule, and I talk to someone friendly
- their full attention is with my pet
- they see us within a timely manner
- I’m comfortable asking any questions

This is also a smaller, privately owned vet, so of course it might be a little extra compared to other places, but it was definitely worth it! Everyone was friendly, fast, thoughtful, and kind. I definitely recommend this place!“

“I have been taking my pets to Anderson Lakes Pet Hospital for many years. All the doctors I’ve worked with are amazing, although if I had to pick a favorite, it would be Dr. Hanson!

The clinic is always spotless, warm, and welcoming. The team is compassionate and truly cares about the wellbeing of your pets. They take the time to understand both you and your animals, and what I appreciate most is that they listen. They talk things through with you and don’t jump straight to expensive tests like X-rays or unnecessary procedures.

I also want to mention something very personal. When I had to put my little poodle down, I was devastated. As I searched for the perfect new puppy, I would send every potential one to Dr. Zieman. She always took the time to review the information and honestly tell me whether she recommended that puppy or not — and explain why. It took several tries, but eventually she said, “Yes, I would recommend this one.” That puppy is now 7 years old, and I absolutely adore her.

They’re also wonderful about answering emails immediately, which has saved me many trips to the vet — and of course, unnecessary vet bills.

I called Edina pet hospital and they told me they always schedule emergency time for cases like this. The service was excellent and very affordable. I was actually expecting double..
Vets that dont schedule emergency time are a money grab in my eyes. My wife was a doctor for 35 years and scheduled time every day for emergencies. I appreciate that“

“Crossroads was recommended to us by a friend after a horrible experience at Prior Lake Vet. Crossroads Dr's are fabulous. We had a senior dog whose ear was gushing blood (a cyst had burst) We made 2 trips to Prior (our normal vet at the time) on the same day, because the bleeding wouldn't stop. When it started up a 3rd time, we called and they told us to go somewhere else. Long story short, we ended up at Crossroads and they were so wonderful! The Dr worked through her lunch hour on our girl. She ended up needing to be put to sleep, but the Dr was caring and showed so much empathy. She sat in the room with my husband for an hour talking and listening while he shared memories with her about our Pepper. They didn't hurry him out the door. They let him have all the time he needed. Everyone was so sweet and kind. The way a vet should be. We have found our new vet! Thank you so much, everyone!“
