250 N Main St, Plymouth“I joined Planet Fitness at the beginning of this year. I was still exercising on Zoom with my old trainer due to my gym not being open because of Covid. I was having an issue with my shoulder where I could not lift my grandson anymore. I started taking classes with Alex soon after. within a couple of weeks I was able to start lifting my grandson again.Alex not only explains what exercises you're doing and what muscles you're using, but how to properly do the exercise so that you don't hurt yourself. Alex always encourages us to do the best that we can do. as we finish up our classes and are leaving. Alex will usually always say good class and that he appreciates us .We really appreciate him. He is awesome. I'd also like to let you know how good the whole staff is the staff is very friendly when we come in and the place is always very very clean. I always will mention sometimes to Alex how they have all the weights and belts in order and he says that's my staff at work.I wanna let you know that I feel that you have a wonderful staff at Plymouth and I love going to exercise“

“Kieana is an excellent trainer and so much more. She’s the best cheerleader, listener, and coach. Her approach is holistic and personalized. She’s been flexible to both my physical and emotional health. When my ankle is sore (from a previous injury) she’s adjusted the routine to low impact; and when I’m exhausted mentally or having a stressful day, she includes some ball slamming and a listening ear. I’ve had other “terminator” trainers who were great, and I got results. However, I am so thankful that I’ve found Kieana – she’s special.“

He met me where I was at, and helped me set realistic goals and expectations. Was looking for a place to work out after moving back to MI that wasn’t just a normal gym where I had to go myself and plan all my workouts because I know that’s what keeps me from going. I’ve always preferred a more structured option and group setting and that’s just what I got! Also have been able to meet a bunch of great people along the way. Dom also knows his stuff and was great with adjustments I needed since I recently had ACL reconstruction surgery and would struggle with certain exercises. Would highly recommend!“

5866 Middlebelt Rd, Garden City“I’ve been going to this gym for about 4 years now and I gotta say, I don’t really have problems with it. One thing I really do recommend is getting heavier dumbbells. I’ve been to other planet fitness areas and their dumbbell weights go up to 95lbs which is actually awesome. It’s hard for me to get a heavy set in with dumbbell presses,/incline presses here in garden city. Most of my friends agree with me as well for this location to get heavier dumbbells. Other than that, it’s an amazing gym over here!“

Not only have I enjoyed learning a variety of exercises and using different equipment, but I've also gained confidence, improved my health, and continued to build strength. Emily has been amazing to work with—she consistently pushes me to step outside my comfort zone and helps me achieve things I never thought I could do. I always look forward to every session with her. Additionally, I've taken classes with other instructors at the gym, and it's been great! She is the best teacher I've had - very patient, makes the class fun, mixes it up and is responsive to what we want to do and work on. This past year I started taking MELT classes from her which have been life changing for relieving chronic hip pain that I've been living with for several years. MELT is amazing - so easy - anyone can do it. Kathi is a fantastic teacher and it's so wonderful to feel great in 10 minutes a day!“
