“I had a great experience here. I've had lots of disappointing experiences buying frames from the optometrist and ending up with poorly fitting glasses. The people at Wood Opticians help you pay attention to all the practical details that matter, whether it's the optical clarity of various lens materials, they way bridge width affects fit, different ways to adjust the frame depending on how you want it to rest on your face, etc. Now I have a pair of glasses that are noticably clearer than my previous pair and they actually stay put on my nose!“

“UPDATE: Glad to report that the office did contact my daughter immediately, as offered in their response to my previous review. They provided free return shipping, corrected the lenses, and shipped them again. Thank you for your prompt corrective actions.

PREVIOUS REVIEW:
This office has seen alot of change over the years. Currently they are below par. We ordered glasses for my daughter at college. They were shipped to her at college and she received glasses that had not seen the finishing step of the process - the glass edges of the lenses had not been ground to smoothness, and were very sharp. She called iCare and they said to ship them back or find a local place to do it. They did not apologize. They did not offer free return shipping. They did not offer to cover the cost of having them finished at a store near her. Very sloppy work, and lack of apology implied that they were used to what happened. They have a business partner failed in their quality control, and the office in Cloverly failed to check that the order had been completed properly before sending them on. Unprofessional all around.“
