“When my mother needed<br>a pair of frames for an updated prescription and was looking around her new community to find an optician, we stumbled upon the enthusiastic reviews for this unpretentious, longtime family owned alternative to the typical retail chains. As other reviews have mentioned, the staff at B&M could not be nicer including Debbie who has worked there for decades, and the prices are very reasonable without anyone trying to upsell the priciest frames or things you don’t need, while still having a great selection… happy to replace your lenses if you still like your old frames, and fix and do things chains often can’t or won’t. Their professionalism and experience is a throwback to “old times”, and while their decor is also, it lends its own charm as does the location right on the side of a strip mall with very convenient parking. We found the perfect pair of frames for my mom and are delighted to have discovered this independent little gem… no wonder they’ve been in business for so long! Highly recommended.”

They provided free return shipping, corrected the lenses, and shipped them again. Thank you for your prompt corrective actions.<br><br>PREVIOUS REVIEW:<br>This office has seen alot of change over the years. Currently they are below par. We ordered glasses for my daughter at college. They were shipped to her at college and she received glasses that had not seen the finishing step of the process - the glass edges of the lenses had not been ground to smoothness, and were very sharp. She called iCare and they said to ship them back or find a local place to do it. They did not apologize. They did not offer free return shipping. They did not offer to cover the cost of having them finished at a store near her. Very sloppy work, and lack of apology implied that they were used to what happened. They have a business partner failed in their quality control, and the office in Cloverly failed to check that the order had been completed properly before sending them on. Unprofessional all around.”

“I have a typically complex prescription for someone older and nearsighted - progressive lenses and a second pair with a modified prescription for computer use. The outstanding feature of this business is the deep expertise of the owner and optician. He has been very helpful in interpreting features of my prescriptions and adapting the actual glasses to be appropriate for my specific needs. Most recently he made several changes to my computer glasses at no charge. This required patience from both of us but worked out well. His expertise enabled him to address my concerns very effectively.”

I later returned in the next calendar year for contact lenses. Dr. Patel has been very patient trying to figure out which contact lenses will work the best for me. I am satisfied thus far.”
