Charles was awesome to work with! He was very communicative, receptive to our requests and filled in the gaps in our music selection beautifully. He is professional, easy-going, and a great guy to be around. We truly did not have any complaints from the beginning of the planning process to the last song of the night and even about his follow up after our wedding. The dance floor was full the entire night and his MC skills were evident in that he didn't make himself the center of attention at any point, but effectively moved the evening along seamlessly. She confirmed the price before starting and completed my hair in a little less than 3 hours. This was with one braider. The shop was clean and just had praise music playing on YouTube. I’ve been searching for an efficient, quality braiding shop since moving to Maryland and I will be back.

The loc journey is individual and gives something different to each person. Tammy was recommended through a friend who I've watched her locs blossom into beauty and elegance. I just started my locs in June with Tammy, so I'm early on, but this review is about the styling she did for me for a wedding I was a part of. Tammy figured out, on the spot, how to integrate synthetic locs into my hair to achieve the style. My goodness did it turn out wonderful! I'm still wearing it 3 weeks later and still receiving compliments.

I can't say enough good things about T-Queen. She is absolutely amazing at her craft! I've been going to her for my crochet braids for 4 years. She does such amazing work that she's the only person I let touch my hair. Not only is she skilled, but she is professional, personable and will give hair care tips specifically based on your hair type, texture and any issues you may have. She will follow your lead about the style you want, but also offer suggestions. She is absolutely the best and I will continue going to her for crochet braids and to branch out to other styles as well.

I had a great first time experience at Vivi Nails today. When I walked in, although every technician was busy, I was immediately greeted and asked what I needed. I was seated as soon as the next chair was available (I was a walk-in), shown a menu, and my service began. I got a pedicure and regular polish, and a $5 callus removal add on. My pedicure experience was great, from the massage chair to the foot/calf massage itself. I'm so bummed I never asked my technician's name! My total was $41 excluding the tip, and I'm so impressed by the quality of the work and the quickness in which it was done. I will definitely be becoming a regular!

In 9/2020, Chiquita brought me from the brink of accepting the old cliche of “my whole family loses our hair at an early age, reducing us all to wigs” to leaving your crown alone and trusting the Loc process the correct way! As a last-ditch effort in 9/2017, I paid an arm and a leg for instalocs that expedited my thinning process. As a cosmetologist, she took care of the hair 1st then focused on the look afterward. This salon is especially suited for those who endeavor to have a new relationship with their hair. The salon is small but spacious with lots of natural light while also being very private. Shelly is incredibly well informed about hair challenges both treated and untreated. She is patient and thoughtful and consequently understands where you are trying to go with your hair and how to get there in the healthiest way possible. We discussed in detail my past health struggles impacting my hair. She was not daunted by my challenges and more than a week out I understand why she had no concerns. Her hair science is expert level. She clearly understands the “mentality” of hair and applies it with great success (at least for my situation). Add to the experience a rather metaphysical therapy session and you walk out of the shop looking and feeling years lighter. This is a definite GO for any hair work you’d like to have done. These photos reflect my hair when done and more than a week later. Generally us curly-haired ladies don’t have hair that stays straight for very long. Tape ins and expert knowledge make a world of difference.
Initially I was nervous to alter my brows but I was quickly put at ease. Fanci made sure I was completely happy with the shape and color before starting, which calmed my anxiety, lol. We had great convo & she checked on me throughout the process to make sure that I was ok. The suite was clean and the music in the background was nice. The final result was noticeable but natural looking. Love it!!! She was also available to answer any questions that I had about and throughout the healing process. Very sweet and accommodating.

Carlos at C&A plumbing has been my plumber for 12 years. He has replaced copper pipes, a sump pump and a water heater and out side valves. He has even sent reminders for me to turn off my outside water lines in the winter. He is amazing! He has even responded when he is out of town to let me know what I can do. I've had R.L. Thompson out a few times: 1st) to upgrade my main box from 100 to 200 amp, 2nd) to set up my main box and add an exterior plug for a 50amp generator, and 3rd) to add some new ceiling lights and redo wiring for a ceiling fan.
I called and it happened to work out for Brandon to come out and look at it the same day. By the end of the week, he showed up to do the work. He was professional. The old wiring was a challenge and he spent the time needed to figure it out instead of further exacerbating the issue. Now the ceiling fan which was loud is now functioning well. A job well done!

We needed a chandelier and a new light switch installed. They reached out day of my initial inquiry. I spoke with Darnell (the owner), who was very professional and courteous. Communication was swift and all questions were answered. The estimate was fair. The total project took a bit longer than expected, but it was a bigger ask so it wasn't a bother. Not only did he do the install, but he patched the walls, installed a new dimmer switch, and cleaned everything up. We highly recommend Green's for any electrical project you need. They're fast, professional, and clean. I could not have asked for a better service provider.

Edgar was really nice and did a good job cleaning my couch. Originally, I was quoted over the phone one price and then when Edgar came he reported it was be more due the stain on the couch. I was frustrated with the process but Edgar steamed the carpet as well due to the miscommunication. Over he did a great job and I would recommend Edgar.

Just had the new berry yogurt parfait. I was surprised on how good it wash It made a good quick meal. It was very tasty, with a good serving of yogurt and granola. Not too sweet and lots of berries. I also have had their fruited chicken salad sandwich. As good as any you’d get at a deli.
My house had original aluminum siding from 1983, and I decided that it was time for improvements. I looked at 3 options: 1) repair/paint existing siding, 2) replace with vinyl siding, or 3) replace with Hardie plank. Obviously, repairing would have been the least expensive and Hardie plank the most expensive (at least so I thought). I procured seven estimates from different contractors on the various approaches with most providing an estimate on both vinyl and Hardie plank. In the end, I went with Able Construction and Hardie plank. Hardie plank installation does tend to be higher priced than vinyl but not exorbitantly. I found that there was quite a variation in the vinyl pricing based on quality of materials; some was priced even higher than the Hardie plank. The quote by Able Construction on Hardie plank was not the lowest estimate I received or the highest. It was in the middle. So why did I choose Able Construction? First, they absolutely sounded the most knowledgeable about the installation process. Second, their estimate was very thorough so there appeared to be little room for unforeseen charges. In my case, there was so rotten wood uncovered that needed replacing (costs $120), but I was told upfront that could be a possibly (and I saw the rotted wood prior to replacement). Most other estimates were vague and failed to address issues that Able Construction brought up during the “walk around” of my house during the estimation process. Also, note that there is a “James Hardie Contractor Alliance™ program that is designed to match homeowners with professional contractors who meet the highest quality of customer satisfaction and are trained on James Hardie installation best practices”, and Able Construction is one of those contractors (zip code 20708 in search). Finally, why did I choose Hardie plank over vinyl given mostly more expensive? First, I’ve had it before and believe it is a better material. Second, you can paint it at a later point in time if you want to change colors which is important to my wife (painting not necessary initially since it comes pre-painted). In the end, the finished product looks great, and I highly recommend Able Construction.

After obtaining 5 different estimates to add a porch onto the front of my house, I choose Reliable for two reasons: 1) A neighbor had hired them and gave positive feedback; 2) Very reasonably priced compared to others.
I was so pleased with the price, that I asked Kelvin if he could do more work on the house for me, and he agreed! I now have new insulated siding, a new roof, new gutters and a new front concrete sidewalk in addition to the wonderful porch that has electrical outlets and a lighted-ceiling fan! The fan makes all the difference!
What impressed me most was how Kelvin met all my needs, and made suggestions to improve on my plans. I really felt as though we we're a team! And then he surprised me with little extras like detailed crown molding, tying the new gutters into the existing underground release pipes and adding a few extra feet length on the sidewalk that really made a difference ! Some ground leveling and planting grass seed from where I had the tree removed was another nice surprise!
I would definitely hire Reliable Construction again!
I’ve been looking for a new dentist since 2024, and this is by far the best dental office I’ve been to. The office is clean, efficient, and very transparent about treatment and costs. The cleanings are thorough and painless, and the fillings were quick, comfortable, and done perfectly. After having issues at other dental offices, it was such a relief to finally find a team that gets it right. Highly recommend!

This is a husband and wife dynamic duo. They are very knowledgeable of the field. I went to them barely being able to walk or sit down and after one treatment I could sit and felt much better. The office staff are nice and accommodating as well.

I highly recommend Rocky Gorge for emergency treatment and any surgical procedure your animal needs. Rocky Gorge Animal Hospital is an economical piece of heaven filled with talented, compassionate, knowledgeable, thorough, beyond friendly and truly remarkable angels. My dog was seriously injured in an accident and needed a difficult orthopedic surgery. Dr. Morris, who also performed my family dog's ACL surgery, performed my dogs fractured humerus surgery exceeding well, especially given its level of difficulty, while being extremely conscientious of the cost to the customer. They have been a Godsend in performing my dogs difficult surgery while giving her the best care I could ask for, using a laser to close up her wounds after surgery, and doing this all with the foundation in mind to make it as affordable to the client as possible for example not charging me for suture removal. They provided an estimate that included a low end and high end of the procedure, and I always felt that they followed a code of ethics that I never felt like my dogs care and treatment was being exploited and capitalized on but the very opposite. I'm so grateful for Rocky Gorge because they took beyond exceptional care for my dog during surgeries and procedures and made it so without leaving me in years of debt. Thank you to the incredible orthopedic surgeon Dr. Morris, and all the staff, technicians and pharmacists that help set my mind at ease during the extremely difficult time for me going through a serious accident with my dog. I am beyond blessed for the angels and the immaculate, detailed surgeries, procedures and post-op care they provided for not only my dog, but myself as well!

I live about 5 minutes from the Laurel location and decided to give this location a shot. I've tried other massage services in the area and none impressed me to the point that I would return. BUT I can now say I think I've found the one with Massage Crystal Laurel. Even though I've only been there once (today), the massage was excellent and just what I needed. I left there feeling so relaxed that I had to pause and close my eyes in my car for a moment before driving off. The site was clean, the staff extremely friendly and thorough and my masseuse (Coco) was very attentive to my problem areas. Coco really went in on my knots! The cherry on top are the affordable prices and the walk-in appointments which make it extremely accessible for last minute appointments which I foresee myself needing in the future. Many thanks to the Laurel site - I'm already looking forward to my next appointment!

Today I experienced the most incredible massage I’ve ever had. I wasn’t sure about adding the scalp massage at first, but it turned out to be one of the best parts. Normally, I try to stay awake so I can feel every moment of a massage, but this time I completely drifted off — that’s how amazing it was. (Me: 0pts Mrs. Deidra: 5pts lol )
Afterwards, I felt deeply relaxed, and even my face looked softer and more at ease. She even gave me fresh fruit, a delicious scone, and tea while I sat in her relaxation room. Truly the best massage I’ve ever had, and I’m already looking forward to booking my next one!!

He will explain everything to you about your massage before hand to make sure you understand the delivery and are comfortable…if not adjustment can be made…Before your appointment he will send you a questionnaire where you can point out your problem areas disclose any health issues that need to be considered before your massage and the areas you want to avoid. He goes over this with you when you come in for your appointment as well. Hell ask what kind of music you’d prefer and he will play that while he massages you. I've visited the Natural Care Center for acupuncture many times. I decided to work with a student through their teaching clinic because the cost is lower. I was assigned a student, met for my first visit over telehealth, and then met in person every time after. It's super easy to schedule an appointment - I just text the student directly to find out their availability. I check-in at the front desk and then am escorted to the room where my acupuncturist is waiting for me. They are always so kind and patient and really want to understand how I am doing. The student does an initial assessment and then meets with their supervisor to go over the treatment plan. The appointment is usually about an hour and half from start to finish. I always leave feeling super present.
It feels great to have passed the test!!!! From the online lessons to couching and BTW top tier service!

Mr. Marshall Brooks, great instructor. Literally taught me everything I need to know on the test, showed me specific tricks and tips on how to be safe, and overall just a kind, experienced, and organized instructor. I had an inconvenience when gregs driving school services (idiots) cancelled my 3rd appt without even telling me when I couldnt make it to the 2nd one. Mr. Brooks quickly fixed that mistake and let me move my 3rd practice to the 2nd slot and opened up another slot for me to take my 3rd practice, also with him. He should get a raise and the idiots at online services should be fired

The instructor is very helpful, funny, relatable, and attentive. I had a good experience in this class. As long as you pay attention in class and you'll do just fine. Don't listen to these negative reviews. They truly are false.
