FCI recently installed laminate wood flooring in my downstairs family room, replacing very old and dismal carpeting. I can’t say enough about the Sanya Sbar, the owner, and her staff. Within a couple of days of my email inquiry, Sanya came to my house to look at the room and discuss flooring options. She was meticulous in showing me samples of the options and discussing their pros and cons. I agreed with her recommendations and was pleasantly surprised by the cost she quoted a couple days later. The work soon started and the new flooring was completed in two days. A few days later, the carpet on the stairs from the first floor was replaced with treads that match the flooring. The transformation of the room was amazing, as can be seen in the before and after pictures. The new floor dramatically increased the brightness and appeal of the room.
The installation crew was outstanding and their work of very high quality. They dealt efficiently with unexpected problems (such as having to remove unexpected old vinyl tile glued to some areas of the concrete subfloor). And they went above and beyond merely installing the flooring. First, the flooring was also installed in an alcove containing the washing machine and dryer. When the crew moved the washing machine, they found that the water feed lines were continuously leaking (and probably had been for years). Walter, the crew chief, was skilled in plumbing and replaced the leaking connections. Second, the washer/dryer alcove once had bi-fold doors which I had removed several years ago due to age. Sanya suggested that if I bought new bifold doors, her crew would install them. I jumped at the idea and their presence adds to the improved appearance of the room. Third, Derek, the man who did the stairs, found when he began removing the carpeting that corners had been cut in building the stairs. As a result, he installed additional bracing and tread supports and now the stairs now have a much more solid feel to them and no longer squeak loudly when anyone uses them. Fourth, I had purchased an upright piano that was to be delivered later that same week. The piano had to be taken down the stairs to the family room and the moving crew said the handrail had to be removed in order to do so. So Walter, he of the flooring and plumbing skills, also removed the handrail and the piano was successfully moved down the stairs. I think Walter would probably also have done a load of laundry for me if I had asked him to.
Within the coming year I intend to install the same flooring on the ground level of my townhouse and the stairs up to the second floor, tile flooring in the kitchen, and new carpeting throughout the upstairs. I have already had discussions with Sanya on this and am looking forward to working with her and her people again.

B&D Plumbing and Heating Inc is great! My gas hot water heater gave up the ghost on me after 16 yrs of service. I called them needing a new one with installation asap. I had an awesome hair experience with Stylist Tracey. She was very meticulous about every part of the process. She was accommodating, professional, cordial, personable, and very skilled. She listened to my requests and executed everything to perfection. My weave looked like it was my own natural hair. She was exceptional in every aspect of my hair journey. I will definitely call her for future services. When I walked in, I looked every bit of my 80 years. However, when I walked out, I looked many years younger! I really enjoyed having my hair braided at Flavine’s shop today. I don’t get my hair braided often but, I’ am happy I came across one of her customers to find such a talented hair Braider. Everyone one was very friendly. As far as the braids. My head doesn’t hurt, I can lift them up without feeling like I need to take them out, and have been getting compliments since I came home. I will be going back to Flavine!

The front desk team is always welcoming and kind, and the overall customer service is consistently excellent. I’ve seen both Key and Duy for services — pedicures, gel, Gel-X, and regular manicures — and they are both fantastic.
For my wedding, Duy did my Gel-X nails and absolutely slayed the design. I showed him a reference photo and he recreated it perfectly — people were complimenting my nails for weeks. I even brought my sister and members of the wedding party here, and everyone left thrilled with their results.

Stylist: I love Yanine she does an amazing job with blowouts styling and even re-twist I will always want her to be my stylist because she does my fiancé‘s hair perfect the way he likes and even when I get a blowout and get my hair styled it stays that way for a while and it feels healthier and vibrant.
Mike was very professional, knowledgeable and nice, explained in detail about my plumbing issues. I actually learned a few things on clearing my plumbing blockage for other small issues. He did excellent work. Need more plumbers like Mike that I would request again to do my plumbing work.

After the loss of a leader limb, I was sadly forced to take down a huge 200 year old red oak tree in my front yard. I rarely leave Google reviews, good or bad, but I was so impressed and satisfied with the job that Adirondacks Tree Experts did that I was eager to post this one. They were great from beginning to end - responsive and friendly in providing a bid, incredibly careful and efficient in removing the tree, their foremen and crew members friendly throughout the day, and perfect with the clean-up. They caused no damage whatsoever to surrounding trees, bushes, or other foliage. And the cost was far more reasonable than any of the several other companies I took bids from. I am not a relative or friend of anyone there, I had never even heard of them until this job. But I will definitely use them again if the need arises, and recommend them to friends and neighbors.

I learned that I had to retake a driver's ed class after completing it at a different school a few years ago since I had not done my behind-the-wheel hours back then due to driving anxiety, and long story short, I was frustrated about having to retake it - but once I found Bright Future Driving School and started the class with Ms. Khan, I was very glad - She made it painless, and I learned a lot. Ms. Samiha Khan taught me a lot that I can take on the road with me now as a new driver. I finally feel like I am really going to get my license soon, and I am actually looking forward to my drive times/behind-the-wheel appointments thanks to this class and instructor. She took my son to practice MVA test routes, beltway driving, backing into parking spaces, and parallel parking, even though parallel parking is no longer required to obtain a Maryland driver's license. She truly went above and beyond to make sure he was well-prepared and confident behind the wheel.
