I had a tenant call me with an emergency when sewage water started backing up into the toilet and floor every time the washing machine was running. I contacted ACW Service Inc. and spoke with Brian, who was extremely responsive and helpful from the start. He answered my questions quickly and came out to the property within about two hours of my initial call — same day service during an emergency, which was huge.

They diagnosed the issue right away and found that tree roots from the front of the property had blocked the main drainage pipe. Brian cleared the roots, cleaned out the line, and restored proper drainage so nothing is backing up anymore. Everything is now working exactly as it should.

“I cannot say enough about the great experience we had with Moore Construction Group; we actually used them twice. Our project was large enough that we split it into two, with about a six month gap in between. We absolutely would use them again. We have a 98-year-old home that has seen its share of poorly completed repairs and renovations over the decades. Nate, Rachel, and Marco worked hard to help us complete back-permitting, multiple repairs/remediation, as well as a nearly-whole-home renovation. The end result is even better than we could have imagined.
There are three main reasons to use Moore Construction Group. First, everything will be permitted and inspected, giving homeowners peace of mind. They are well known to the city of Alexandria and will do everything up to code, with inspections passed quickly. Second, Rachel and Marco listen, are really responsive, and will give homeowners advice that allows the project to become even more than what the homeowners were expecting. Rachel’s layout sense and Marco’s collaboration with homeowners allows the project to move forward while also improving safety, flow and sense of space. “While G.A. Eberly did not necessarily do any substantial work on my home, I am giving them 5 stars for their customer service, promptness, knowledgeable staff, and fair prices. I had a tankless water heater go out in the coldest stretch of winter. My thermostat (we have radiator heating) was reading 41 degrees. When calling companies on 12/28, I was being told by many they couldn't see me until early January. G.A. Eberly took my call and checked with their maintenance team to see how they could fit me in on the same day. They had a lead technician (Steven) hop on the phone and get information about what I was experiencing, before finding a way to slot me in. Steven even called back about 30 minutes later to offer a quick fix solution to see if we could get our heat back on. Excellent service!Chris was the technician dispatched. He doesn’t come in and try to upsell you on jobs that supposedly need to be done before they can preform the job you brought them in to do.
