Tonya …. Should be called the “ Hair Doctor” because my hair needed a major operation. Her hair care felt so personal. She treated me as if I were her only client . I was referred to Ms. Kim after complimenting a woman’s pixie (she told me that her sister did it and gave me her info). I walked in today and I’m so happy I did because I will be back. Ms. Kim knows what she’s doing and talking to her felt like talking to your favorite Auntie. The other person working (so sorry I forgot to get her name) gave me a great wash and was equally friendly. They’re stuck with me.

Makis was a professional, clean and skilled. When he dropped a piece of equipment he assured me he won't use it with me again because it's no longer sterile. Nice. I got a decent cut. Pricing is not the cheapest but comparable to how much I pay for a barber in DC.

This was by far the best nail salon experience I have had. I arrived for my appointment and was taken back to an open chair with the water already set up for me. The salon was very clean and the staff were kind. The shop SMELLED so good. The bathroom was also clean. I had the pleasure of Emperatriz taking care of me and she was thorough, kind and took in consideration what I asked for as a paying customer. Omar was on time and provided excellent service. His repair, over a month in, has proved enduring. After calling many companies, this was the only one willing to come and service a SubZero refrigerator. Took a while to get an appointment, but no issues thereafter.
Very recently, my Maytag washing machine wasn't feeling it's best. So, I found Bell Appliance Repair, who was rated very high, and I took the leap and contacted them to set up an appointment. I am so pleased with their quick response! Mr. Bell (the owner) was the person who responded and after diagnosing the issue with my washer, got the part and replaced it. Mr. Bell is extremely knowledgeable, professional, fair, and personable! Of such importance for me, Mr. Bell explained the issue, cause, solution, and price up front, as well as followed up with me to ensure my washer was now working properly. He also provided his recommendation to prevent future recurrence.

HIRE THEM!!! Rob and his team at MAK were outstanding partners. I contracted with them to renovate a pantry, add accent walls and trim, and to paint. They did an amazing job. Their communication is excellent. From the initial visit to consultation on materials to their on-site presence, they always made sure they were giving me updates or seeking my input on the work. The project manager showed up or reached out daily. I didn't have a single issue working with them. On top of all of that, the work is excellent. The on-site team doing the work are really good. They showed up on time every day and didn't waste a moment while they were here. I am 100% happy with their work and will definitely come back to them if I ever have another project.
