“In October of this year, I had an issue with plumbing – water started leaking from my bathroom to the bathroom of the apartment below. Our neighborhood technician, who is also a friend, evaluated the problem and asked to contact an outside contractor to have the problem fixed and recommended Ascension Home Contractors, LLC, i.e. Jimmy and his team. “We worked with Jordan Weed who created a custom kitchen layout. He collaborated with our interior designer Adam Bechtold on the design and choosing the best paint color match for the main cabinets as well as the accent look for our rustic oak island. He provided a professional drawing set with several revisions to fulfill our ideas. During the installation phase he visited the house multiple times to meet with our contractor and answer any questions to make sure everything was fitting as intended. “Our 5-year old new townhome was having HVAC issues where condensation was forming on the ductwork and leaking into our basement ceiling. The humidity was intense and condensation was causing trip breakers and cooling issues. Jerry was super quick to reply to our inquiry and came out personally to inspect the issue. In under 30 minutes he was able to diagnose the issue, craft up a way ahead, and scheduled the maintenance to begin next day. In 2.5 days Jerry, Tito, Ronnie, and Jose dried out and properly insulated the ductwork, re-drywalled and painted, installed a dehumidifier, installed a UV light, conducted the seasonal maintenance, and at a very reasonable cost. Jerry and his team were an absolute delight to work with as they were friendly, efficient, polite, capable, and cleanly. “I recently completed a full renovation of my row house with Fairmont Developers, and I couldn't be happier with the results. “Quality, schedule, and price: pick two,” is the classic saying. Instead our project was completed ahead of schedule, just under budget, and the quality of the work was excellent. And that includes an expanded project scope that came up when we discovered large issues with a neighboring property.Fairmont was incredibly flexible and easy to work with. They were always willing to listen to our ideas and make changes as needed. They were also very responsive to my questions and concerns.Fairmont’s foreman or a partner subcontractor was on-site on average more than five days a week for the entire many-month project. This allowed them to keep a close eye on the work and make sure that everything was done to the highest standards, and if not the first time, they made sure it was redone. Unlike several neighboring projects, we had no stop work orders, no neighbor complaints (complements actually), and all our inspections were successful.I would highly recommend Fairmont to anyone looking for a home builder or doing a major urban renovation. They are professional, reliable, and they do great work.“

“James B Remodeling did outstanding work on a full kitchen remodel, including knocking down two walls, installing new cabinets, appliances, lighting, windows, doors, flooring & tile. He constructed a new mudroom & main-level washer/dryer for us. Sanded and refinished front door, capped old HVAC ducts, repaired two exterior porches and painted nearly the entire interior of our home. Quality exceeded our expectations, work was done fast-- just 7 weeks, & Amir and his team were a pleasure to work with.James B Remodeling helped us visualize our space and select finishes with 3D drawings of the layout, color choices, tile, lighting, & furniture placement. Work began a week early and crew arrived at 8:30am each day, working sometimes until 6pm to get the job done.Amir brought in an engineer to certify the removal of non-load bearing walls. When his crew discovered that a previous owner had cut through a different load bearing wall, they opened up 3 adjacent walls, installed double vertical beams and a supporting truss in the ceiling to ensure the safety and integrity of our home.The price was more than fair for the amount and quality of work that was done.
