“I have taken pilates classes for over 15 years at many different gyms/studios. I never felt more supported, appreciated and always challenged by an instructor as I do with Jenn. She truly loves what she does and has created a wonderful pilates community in this little “town”. I leave every class happy I came, invigorated (sweaty) and always wanting another! If you are new to pilates- Jenn is warm, welcoming and somehow makes even the most challenging movements approachable to anyone.“

I have always worked out (weights and cardio) and I have found adding Pilates to the mix has improved my flexibility, core strength and balance. My instructor, Michelle, is exceptional. She is knowledgeable, thoughtful and patient as she introduces new moves and explains what each one is designed to do. She is also a good listener and easily adapts my routine when I had an injury or limitation. I have also watched other instructors and see that they have trusted relationships with their clients. The studio is clean and modern. I always enjoy being there and feel great when I leave. I am so glad I found Passion & Pilates and highly recommend this studio to others.“
“Absolutely love down under especially the studio, great location, and even better teachers“

825a Washington St, Newton“I have had chronic lower backpain for 4 years and I came to Olga after 3 mildly successful attempts at physical therapy. I do not have a herniated disk or major back injury, however, my backpain has been extremely debilitating these last few years. Anyone with chronic pain can empathize the psychological torture that it can exert on a person. I have heard from others that if performed cautiously, Pilates can be a gentle and sustainable method to improve chronic back pain and was hoping to dip my toes into this form of exercise. Starting off with a more physical therapy mindset and hopefully moving on to group classes to continue my recovery.
When I came to Olga, my back hurt 24 hours a day to varying degrees but maybe a 7 on the pain scale. It was hard to tie my shoes. I elected for the 6 session PT package and went once a week for 6 weeks. This was my best experience with PT. It is a one-on-one session with Olga who really took the time to monitor my progress and performed constant analysis of muscle activation, posture and range of motion.
The sessions with Olga exclusively one-on-one with her and were often posture muscle activation and healthy movement based. It included some exercises that you can do at home with only a floor and a wall, but a lot was done on the pilates reformer, spring bands and chair. This met my goal of using this as a gentle introduction to pilates to see if this form of exercise was right for me. We also finished each session with either laser therapy or shockwave therapy at no additional charge.
At previous PTs, you speak with the PT on the first day and they make a regiment for you and largely pass you off to PTs-in-training who walk you through the exercises in the following sessions. It can feel very rushed and impersonal. Almost like they could have just sent you an email for your exercises for the week and then charge you a great sum of money.
This was a very personalized and patient focused experience without it being a crowded room of patients being juggled between employees in a profit focused larger PT company. It was more expensive than my previous PT experiences but I feel was a much greater value. After 4 years of back pain I was happy to pay a little more for an improved chance at recovery.
I can happily say that my backpain has made great progress in only 6 weeks. I feel some improved strength and changes in how my core, glutes and hips activate in my daily life. Most days I get significant chunks of the day where I am completely pain free. I will give myself credit that I was very good at completing the "homework" that Olga gave me each week. Just showing up to the classes with Olga is only a small part of the recovery process, you have to take the exercises you learn home and perform them on your own but most importantly, take the healthy movement patterns and muscle activation that these exercises teach you to your day-to-day life.
I still have backpain. If I sit down too long it hurts. If I do a lot of lifting/bending it hurts. Even after I do my PT exercises it sometimes hurts. It took a long time to get sick and it will take a long time to get better. I am still extremely happy with the progress that I have made in these 6 weeks.
After discussion with Olga, we both think I am ready to try the classes at Holistic PT and Pilates with Evellin. I feel doing it at Holistic PT and Pilates is a wise decision as Evellin understands that many of her clients come from a PT focused perspective and may not be ready for high intensity Pilates workout.
I'm excited to start these classes with Evellin and and optimistic and hopeful that my backpain is finally on the path to a full recovery.

She kept the motivation going with her high energy, inspiring words and positive attitude! It was extremely humid but so worth it! I will definitely be joining Jill on the green again!“

She’s an absolute expert in women’s healthcare, combining personal training and Pilates in a way that’s both effective and empowering. Her warm, welcoming energy makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in, and her encouragement keeps you motivated even on tough days. Laura really listens and tailors her approach to meet your needs, making every session feel personal and purposeful. I always leave feeling stronger, both physically and mentally. Highly recommend!“

16 Elm St, Cambridge“Bottom-line: Helena is a miracle-worker who truly pays attention to what you individually need. She also is fun, engaging, and not judgmental. I’ve been working with her for a couple of years, and she addressed the root causes of my persistent shoulder and neck pain. She draws upon several approaches (she is a licensed massage therapist, certified Pilates instructor, and trained in gyrotonics, among other things), and she has a deep knowledge of anatomy. It would not be going too far to say that she is uniquely skilled. She also creates a unique program for each person, depending on their needs — there is nothing cookie-cutter about her approach. Do not be discouraged if you need to be put on a short waitlist for a consistent appointment time - Helena will keep you updated and is well, well worth the short wait.“

628 Main St, Reading“I have been taking group classes at Healthy Changes Pilates for 5 years and during the pandemic started woking with Erika individually. Working with her has been truly a wonderful experience. She brings incredible knowledge, competence and depth of experience to each session, which I am greatly appreciative of. She is quick to assess strengths and weaknesses and works with the areas that are in need of strengthening while continuing to strengthen the entire core. I tell her she is a miracle worker as she knows how to work around an injury and has me feeling better at the end of a session. Through working with her I have come to better understand how my body muscles function, have gained strength and flexibility, and I feel and look fit!
I am so glad to have the opportunity to work with her. I highly recommend Erika and Healthy Changes Pilates to any pilates enthusiast!

1305 Cambridge St, Cambridge“I can't recommend Fitlab Pilates enough!
I used to take pilates classes frequently and enjoyed it so much, but I ended up moving and eventually found myself unable to find a studio that I clicked well with....until I found Fitlab.
The environment, community and staff are very warm and welcoming upon entrance. The studio is beautiful, clean and spacious.
I truly enjoy the pace/precision of the reformer classes and the individuality of each instructor. You can tell each class is planned and operated as such but allows for modifications or changes as necessary. Details like that assure me that every instructor is knowledgeable and an expert in their field.
Coming here each week has felt so amazing and I am so happy to be back on the reformer.“

1318 Beacon St #12, Brookline“I have been training with Kathleen since she was at her previous studio so at least 6 years. I started with her afternoon mat classes but once I injured my back and was done with PT I started private training with her on the suggestion of my PT to help continue the progress and my rehab. She listened, moved at an appropriate pace for me and with time and perseverance my back is feeling better.I have stuck with Pilates training, even doing Zoom mat sessions during the pandemic as and this surprised me I love it. I see Kathleen privately one day a week and participate in a semi-private group with my husband on another day. My husband also does a private but with Larry… note he only started training as he wanted to see what I was so excited about and why I was fitting into my clothing better. The studio itself is lovely, light and spotless. You can tell that both Kathleen and her business partner, Larry (who is fabulous as well), really care about the space.“

978 Watertown St, Newton“I highly recommend The Body Center Pilates Studio. It is a Woman and privately owned Studio, where Erin, the Owner and an Instructor, truly cares about her Clients, their satisfaction. She is purposeful in increasing her Clients strength with each class. I have been a studio member (8 classes/month) for over 8 months, and with Erins' help, I have increased my core strength 10 fold and counting.
Erin, is a superb, experienced Pilates instructor who makes every class both fun and challenging. She methodically talks her students through every position while explaining how each move strengthens, open and stretches each muscle group. I have also met alot of new Pilates friends and highly recommend this Studio.“
“Sonja and the rest of the Pilates Lab team are experts in their field. As a pelvic floor therapist, we trust Pilates Lab with some of our most complex patients because of their therapeutic approach to pilates. They are not a one size fits all type of pilates studio. They really know their anatomy and cater to their clients' dysfunctions. We feel so lucky to have them down the street from us because we can't imagine sending our patients anywhere else! Thank you Sonja for providing such an inclusive pilates studio in Boston!“
“Love Solstice Power Yoga. Inferno Pilates and Yoga classes are amazing. You feel so good after class. Elaina, Kelly, Stephanie and the entire staff are great. And the retreats are FABULOUS.“

“I am so grateful I found Boston Back Rehab Center. I went to Boston Back Rehab after 10 years of chronic back pain. Through a combination of dry needling with Fay, massage therapy with Yinh, and the Zoom pilates sessions I finally got rid of tension I'd had in my back for over 10 years. The sessions at Boston Back Rehab is the best solution I have found that has helped me alleviate my back pain. Thank you!“
