“Dr mertz is great. I've been bringing a variety of animals to him over the last 10+ years. And prices are amazing for the services. I need to call them soon actually to make an appointment for my tortoises to get their nails and beaks trimmed! I've brought chickens here as well.They do take wildlife for rehab. Call first and make sure you go to the correct door for wildlife. It's not the same as the regular vet section.You can also take a tour of the facility. I think it's like 5 for self guided and 10 for a guided one. I always learn something when I'm there“

Dr Briere is AWESOME. She is very kind and caring and provided me with great insight on my havanese's injury (complete CCL rupture). “Came across this review and had to set the record straight. Found Dr. Haddad, then owner of North Main St Veterinary Clinic, in the early 90's and never looked back. Had been to veterinarians in Canton, Sharon, Stoughton, Randolph and Weymouth, but NMSV was where we stayed for 3 decades, thanks to Dr. Haddad and his very remarkable staff. Dr. Haddad never overcharged, but often, under charged for his services. Always received multi pet discounts and was never discouraged from piggy backing visits to save money and that we did, but more importantly, we received top notch care. He likely wasn't the best businessman, but he was far an away the best and most dedicated and caring veterinarian.A very humble and hard working man, he stayed on after selling to VCN. Through personal and physical issues he worked far past retirement because he cared so deeply. He is a dedicated vet who served out country in the 25th infantry division in Vietnam. Dedicated to caring for military dogs to this day. There aren't enough stars to properly award this outstanding veterinarian and human being. For ever grateful for the care he provided all our loves.“

Staff were friendly, attentive, thorough and clear with all consents, instructions and expectations in regard to all appointments, exams and procedures. Provided all needed medications and answered all questions. Clean environment promoting health safety. My pets tumor was removed in a timely manner with a positive outcome. “I absolutely love this vet, and am so surprised to see such a low rating. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences here with both the techs and vets we've seen. Yes, their prices are high, but when it comes to my pet I would rather pay for top notch service than budget for something cheaper. I have called numerous times just with questions about if my dog should be seen and have been told what to do over the phone rather than come in for an appointment. If they really did only care about money, they could've easily advised me to come in and collect. However they truly care about the animals they see. The techs all love my dog and always want to make her feel comfortable (she gets very nervous) and have found their care to be excellent. I would recommend this vet to anyone!“
