“I recently became a Tai Chi Acupuncture client in North Reading with Dr. Michelle. If someone had told me the difference it would make in my quality of life I would never have believed them. I suffer from a progressive degenerative demylating disease similar to MS. I woke up every day to debilitating spasms and pain that I had decided I would just have to learn to live with. After my first visit I woke up the next to no pain! It was gone! It felt like a miracle.I love how Dr. Michelle explains what she does and why. She even let me borrow a book on Acupuncture to read. The staff is amazing working to schedule appointments around a crazy work schedule and numerous doctors appointments.Tai Chi is an amazing place. I strongly recommend you try it out.“

It's making me enjoy the treadmill, which I always thought was the worst piece of gym equipment. I really enjoy the classes offered in each room. Friendly staff and teachers, and easy parking toom“

665 Boylston St. Third Floor, Boston“Laura is knowledgeable about how your body works. She reads the current research and shares that with you as a client. Laura is reassuring and instills confidence to the client. I appreciate that she writes up a manageable program at home for practice at home. Laura offers to take a video which allows me to see and hear her specific recommendations when doing the exercises. Most importantly, my body is improving since working with Laura!“

639 Mt Auburn St, Watertown“I really love it here! I wish I'd discovered yoga the way it's taught here by their wonderful staff years ago. Everyone is very kind and welcoming, and I'm impressed by how well-run the classes are to fit their wide array of experience within their student body. I'm a generally strong/athletic person and I still found the classes to be hugely strengthening for parts of my body that I already considered pretty strong, like my shoulders and core. I've also had lots of issues with mobility and back pain from years of higher impact/intensity sports and classes here made a huge difference after 1-2 classes per week for a month.“

106 Albion St, Wakefield“I feel so fortunate to have found Move 2 Joy and after over a year of taking NIA classes there have found that my balance, muscle tone and general sense of well being has increased greatly. NIA is such a wonderful blending of light yoga, meditation, and dance, with a touch of martial arts and there is no better teacher than Rosanne, the owner of the studio. You won't find a more lovely, well planned, warm and inviting studio. Can't rave enough....and with much gratitude.“

2 Earhart St, Cambridge“We had a wonderful outdoor yoga class with Spira! I was in town for a bachelorette party and we signed up for a mindful yoga class right on the bank of the Charles River. It was a lovely experience to stretch in the shade of a tree, listening to birds overhead. We had women of varying degrees of comfort and experience with yoga, and Spira constructed poses/exercises that everyone could scale up or down as needed. We all felt we'd gotten a good workout by the end. We also had a great conversation with her after class! All of us would highly recommend checking out her class; we loved it!“

“At least four years ago I began my yoga practice with Anne Marie.I wrote a review of her class in the Central Square MASS Ave studio back then commenting on her extraordinary skill and what a warm and very good teacher she isIf I were to add anything to that review today, I would say all those previous attributes continue to be true in abundance and in addition Anne Marie is amazingly flexible. We have continued our practice (remotely) throughout the pandemic. I now practice with her twice a week and find that it is a true mind body experience. Our classes build from one session to the next. They change from season to season. Anne Marie’s instructions are always clear and she often gives two or three options reminding the students that we are to listen to our body and to be kind to it. And above all we need to breathe.Perfect advice from a wonderful teacher in a challenging time.If you are feeling you are missing something in your life as we move through not quite normal times, try to sign up for a class!“

235 Salem St, Medford“My daughter was a pupil here for thier after school program. My little brother was a former student and recomended it to us for our autistic daughter. She is not a very athletic type at all and we had major reservations but decided to give it a shot. Very glad we did. A great bonus is they pick up her from school along with the other students everyday and walk over to the stuido just 2 blocks away. They really were great with her. She is not a problem child at all but due to being on the autistic spectrum understandably would be a harder child to work with during the martial arts class portion of the daily structure. Master Disipio and all other staff was never once discouraging about her extremely slow progress and in fact was surprisingly optimistic about everything especially in motivating our very unmotivated daughter(lol) while still being sensitive to her differences to the other students. All and all a great alternative for the everyday after school program. Each day every child get a mix of play, education, self disipline and structure. Would highly recommend it.“

Do yourself a favor. You’re welcome.“
