When the crew arrived for the job, they took special care to ensure that our flower garden was not harmed. The crew was efficient removing and disposing of the old roofing. When the roofing was stripped it revealed rot on some of the underlying structure, Eric, the crew leader showed me the damage and explained what it would take to fix the problem. The contract covered such a contingency The job was supposed to take a day but the additional extended the work time. None the less, Aurel and the crew stayed until the job was done—a 12 hour day!

Everything was cleaned up at the end. The roof looks great.

Joel got right back to me and came to see the building. He had done some preliminary estimates and had a price for me. It turned out to be the low bid, so we went ahead with him. “I've been using Historical Slate Roofing since ~2015, when the snowpocalypse was causing ice dams on multiple houses on our street. They went up to shovel excess snow off, and then we had them back to inspect the roof, install snow guards (to stop the snow from sliding off dangerously), ice/water shield, seal/repair the gutters, and install a new rubber roof for a flat area. We've since had them out to replace the deteriorated ridge cap, and every 2-3 years when high winds knock the odd slate off. The owner, Kevin, is a nice guy, and knows what he is talking about. He's very responsive, and is happy to explain things to customers. He'll even send you photos of the work if you want (I've attached a few). The prices seem very fair for the work being done. If you need roofing work, I highly recommend them. You won't be disappointed.“
