“I have been a patient here since I was a child and have always loved this place. Dr. Ciampa is probably one of the kindest, down to earth, and knowledgeable doctors in her field that I have come to know. Whenever I have questions and curiosities, she explains them to me in an enthusiastic way that by the time I leave, I am left wondering why I didn't go down same career path! She makes eye health fun. She looks out for her patients in various ways, but specifically I do recall her gently reminding me every few years when I picked out a frame too thin that my prescription lenses would not sit well inside (I have thick lenses). She was also there to help me learn how to use contacts, which was very frustrating personally for me, but with her encouragement and a lot of practice, it worked out in the end! I could never imagine going to another place, I like it here too much and choose to still make the drive after moving almost 40 minutes away now that I have moved out and no longer reside in Melrose. I would HIGHLY recommend this establishment.”
