The last time I got my eyes checked was 5 years ago at another office, and I had such a horrible experience I refused to go back until it was absolutely necessary. My glasses have been crooked for over a year, and my vision recently declined, so I decided to make an appointment at WEC based off a friends recommendation - and they did not disappoint! Dr. Gerow was so nice and helpful, and really made sure I got the right prescription I needed. I was upset to change frames since I've had my old pair for 5+ years now, and the WHOLE office helped me choose the right frame to take home! Also, their lovely office dog Becker was so sweet! My glasses were ready within an hour to pickup, and they even sent me home with a hand written card signed by the whole office. I HIGHLY recommend checking out Winthrop Eye Center.“

“Yes, they took me right away at my scheduled appointment time. Examiner was very excellent, efficient, quick, sense of humor but no nonsense. Skilled at her profession. Didn't 't need three or 5 trues to get the needed test result. Good selection of glasses. The first pair the staff suggested was the pair I bought, after I looked at every pair in the store! lol. They tried to itself me on lenses, which were beautiful but not in my budget. They understood. I'll pick up my glasses soon. I recommend these guys. And oh yeah, they fo really gave all the latest state of the art efficient equipment. Turns out the glasses I bought last time just fell apart after 1 year. Whoever makes thier lenses, maybe its me, but they seem like they are not crafted well.“
