“I called Swampscott Refrigeration to inspect my older unit (we have two, one per each floor of our home) as it was blowing cool air, but it wasn't cold. They sent Scott the technician out. He did a great job identifying and resolving the issue - adding freon to the system and tidying up the compressor while he was working on it. “We contacted Same Day Service to repair our 16 year old dishwasher. Over three visits, Wayne replaced three parts to bring the unit back to life. “We worked with Andrew several times recently, having moved into a new home.The first time we needed Andrew was in more of an emergency capacity – we had an issue in our basement that needed very quick attention, and I had gotten his contact info from some recommendations on a social page. Andrew was very responsive, and able to get out to help us with the issue quickly. He stepped through everything that would be required, and provided us an estimate before starting the work. Important call out: even before Andrew came to the property, he was responding to calls and texts and providing us guidance without any commitment. We were so thankful for everything he did. He was professional and on point with his estimates and helped to quickly resolve the issue.From there, we hired Andrew to perform a good amount of work throughout our home, and he recently finished that project. His timelines and estimates were exact. He again walked us through all the changes first, seeking alignment before performing any work and also level set things ahead of time so there were no surprises. He has an extremely good work ethic; he is professional, courteous, kind and ON TIME! He is so conscious of each step and cleans as he goes, removing all debris. I didn’t even know he was here for the most part ! “This place is the best company i’ve dealt with in Massachusetts. The first time they came they found what i needed fixed quickly based on the admittedly poor information i had. Then the guy proceeded to fix other stuff in and around my small kitchen. Over the course of 15- 20 minutes, he fixed several small things i didn’t even know needed adjusting. In that process i found out the business is owned by a firefighter and has employees that are firefighters and or vets. After that, he charges me the least possible price.The second time i called, which was today, i was in a flustered mood as a result of a crazy and horrible morning- so again was guilty of not expressing the problem very effectively. The owner quickly identified that it’s a problem that i need an electrician for instead if taking advantage of my clear lack of knowledge. He then adjusted my stove top things so they worked properly.I’ll be honest. Many times people i deal with think I’m retarded- because i’m definitely not smart, and furthermore i’m often not an effective communicator to start with- never mind when i’m flustered and dealing with something i don’t know about. The owner was super calm, patient, very clear and efficient with his explanation, and very nice. Then i try to pay he says don’t worry about it. Call us any time something comes up.?I just had to write this review. it’s been a rough week, and this gentleman reminded me that there are still hard workers who take pride in what they do, and clearly care about conducting their small business in an honest, efficient, and professional way. You have appliance issues in and around Arlington??? These are definitely your guys.“

“I am so happy with the support I received from Chelsea Clock Co. I sent in a vintage Chelsea Clock from 1967 that finally died in 2022 after continuous operation with zero maintenance. That’s 55 years. While it did take about ~$800 and roughly 4 months from my initial email to getting my clock back…however, the time and cost was made very evident throughout all of our conversations. The clock has been returned and is beautiful with an exceptionally smooth function. I even received a new Chelsea Key, so that made my day. I big thank you to the amazing techs and support staff up in Chelsea!!!“
