This was our second project with Kim and her team! Kim is incredibly fair, professional and and goes above and beyond. Our stairs where in major need of an overhaul…we think they where over 100 years old and unfortunately not salvageable from years of abuse. We replaced all of the treads and risers. Since we couldn’t leave the house for the work, Kim prefinished the treads for us which made life much easier. As they got into the job they realized it would be better to reinforce some of the old framing. While many contractors would have rushed through, Kim’s team took the time to make sure the job was done right. Thanks again Kim!
Floors By Kim did a wonderful job on our original third floor hardwood. Kim arrived quickly and brought legitimate expertise, easily identifying the type of floors and the pros and cons of each treatment type. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to get any flooring refinished, including removing paint
Kim was very helpful planning and organizing the refinishing of our family room floor. She booked the movers to remove the furniture from the room and to replace it after the refinishing was completed. When the room was clear, Mike and his assistant sanded and stained the floor. Mike returned the following two days to put to apply the polyurethane. The floor looks beautiful. Kim and her staff are professional, thoughtful and knowledgeable. They are like a well-tuned orchestra. I look forward to working with them again in the near future.
