Dr. Caillouet is not only amazing she is a blessing! Long story short. I had painful gallbladder issues, went to the ER on a Monday and they stated I needed surgery. Went to Northlake Surgical Associates on Tuesday to meet with Dr. Caillouet regarding surgery and was scheduled 2 days later. Later on that day, I received a call and I caught pure hell from Victoria from STPH billing about having a high deductible and to have the surgery I need a deposit of $1800. I hit the floor!
I was like great, either I get the money together or die?♀️
I had to pray and let god!
I called Northlake Surgical Associates
explained my situation and tried to reschedule the surgery to have time to get everything together.
Dr. Caillouet and her team came up with a plan, the surgery went as followed, without stressing about anything! The surgery went well, I am 1000% better, and I cannot thank Dr. Caillouet enough!
Not saying that they don't care about the money, but to put the patient first and make sure the patient is taken care of first, is definitely exceptional and excellent patient care!!!

I visited the Home Depot in Covington on a busy Saturday with a laundry list from my family of electricians. I’m like a fish out of water at Home Depot, but they sent me as the gopher to keep things efficient. Tonia graciously asked if I needed help and she became my personal shopper to check things off the list. I was done in a matter of minutes. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I’ve never received that level of service there. Some man abruptly interrupted us and she did not skip a beat while directing him to the appropriate aisle. This woman needs some sort of bonus from corporate. She told me she has worked there for 21+years. Tonia is a total asset to the company and this particular establishment.

Who knew? I was having a pretty tough day, maybe even a whole week. To top it off, the beard was a mess - long and bushy, ears lookin' wolfish, moustache in my mouth and covered in food. I dunno, that might be enough right there! Anyway, I got a surprise appointment here with Ashleigh, so in I went. I knew she could see the stress when I walked in, too...but she handled it with a smile and got me in the chair. She's good - the first thing she did was to just dive in and take a giant bite out of the monster on my cheeks and I instantly felt the stress starting to pour out! So who knew? After this hip little chick got done with the trimming and shaping, she pulled out the you-know-what...yeah, y'all, the HOT TOWELS. My goodness, those are soooo choice. #hottowels Almost too quickly, I was done - trimmed, shaved, waxed, and pampered...man, I really love coming here; the people are wonderful, it's got a super cool vibe, and this young lady has command of these clippers like they're attached at her wrist. Highly, highly recommend setting yourself up with an appointment with her to get yourself some self-love...to borrow a phrase from TMW, you're gonna love the way you look!

Autumn is so amazing, she completely transformed my hair, I’ve never in my life had such great hair and such a great experience at the salon. She is so down to earth and she is so efficient, she works so fast! She literally took my hair from dull and brassy to healthy, glossy and gorgeous. She fixed and corrected all of the mistakes from the last hair dresser I was at, and gave me better than I could have ever asked for! This was the best cut and color I’ve ever had in the 15 years I’ve been getting my hair done.
I was so skeptical when thinking about getting my hair cut. My last few experiences at a few other salons were not great, so I was hoping that this would be the place I would become a regular customer at. AND WOW! First impressions were a nice and clean. Then Logan rounded the corner and told me she would get me taken care of in just a few short minutes. Her and the other stylist were so welcoming and treated me as if I had been to their salon before. They held conversations with me, rather than just between the two of them (their other customers in the salon even chimed in with us). Logan made sure to ask for what I wanted, even threw in some suggestions, but totally left the decision up to me, and boy what an amazing job she did! I was back in town visiting family and brought my son to Who’s Next Barbershop in Covington, and I’m really glad we did. The atmosphere was clean, upbeat, and professional. The entire staff was welcoming and friendly from the moment we walked in plus it was great catching up with friends who are now well off into their entrepreneurial journeys.
Khol was our barber, and he did an outstanding job. He was professional, easygoing, and clearly skilled at what he does. He took his time and made sure every detail was right; my son’s cut looked great.

I recently moved to the Covington area and have been searching for a new nail tech after leaving my longtime Russian manicure specialist in Baton Rouge. I’m very particular about my nails because I prefer builder gel on my natural nails versus acrylics, so I went into this appointment a little cautious and honestly prepared to possibly be disappointed since I’m used to one specific person doing my nails for years.
I found this nail salon on google and it said they offered builder gel services, and I’m so glad I gave them a chance. My nail tech, I believe her name was Keem/Kim (I apologize if I’m spelling it incorrectly), did an absolutely beautiful job. She really listened when I explained the style and look I usually go for, understood exactly what I wanted, and executed it perfectly. The attention to detail was amazing, and my nails came out so clean and natural-looking.
Everyone in the salon was also very friendly and welcoming. I booked an appointment ahead of time, checked in, and was taken right back without a long wait, which I appreciated. The whole experience felt professional, relaxing, and efficient.
I didn’t get a pedicure this visit, but the pedicures looked so relaxing that I definitely plan to come back for one soon. Overall, they absolutely made a returning client out of me, and I’m very happy I found a new spot here in Covington.

Quinn was absolutely amazing! I have 2 horrible in-grown toenails. She got them out and gave me so much relief with zero pain! Very impressed with holly efficiently she worked but still didn't feel rushed. I will be back!

On March 9th I tried this salon for a pedi but also needed a nail technician that had a talent for removing ingrown toenails. Nisha came to the rescue. She was extremely patient, thorough and was always checking up on me as the process is not pain free. Since my last review I’ve become a loyal customer to P & D Nails and try to visit at least once a month. Kisha continues to be my “go to” person because she specializes in removing my ingrown toe nails. My last visit was yesterday 11/4/25 and as always she never disappoints. I have so many great memories with this facility Children's Medical Center of Covington Louisiana because when I was little right after I was born, I used to come here with my adopted mom to see a doctor name Dr. William C. Terral for my doctor's appointment every single day after school, He was a great pediatric doctor up until his passing and I was so unhappy and saddened ? at the same time about his passing back on December 2, 2009!

On a Friday after lunch I sprung a leak on the outgoing hot water heater line and had to cut the water supply off. Ron's Plumbing came highly recommended from a client so I called and left a message on Saturday morning. He returned my call promptly and came out THAT day, repaired and had me back in hot water again! He was very thorough in checking the whole line - plus he was quite reasonable - especially for a Saturday emergency call! I do not hesitate in recommending his plumbing services.

We needed a sink looked at for a moisture leak in the kitchen, I called on a Monday which is never the best day to expect someone to show up. They had someone come by first thing the next morning. He was very friendly and helpful to troubleshoot the issue. I'm glad we found a good plumbing company nearby that we can count on when we have issues since we have an old house that is bound to need more repairs in the future.

Pan American Power supplied, installed, and has been maintaining you generator for the past 6 years. They keep it running in tiptop shape at very reasonable prices. My unit has taken me through 2 hurricanes and numerous local outages with absolutely no problems. For whole house systems I highly recommend Pan American Power and Cummins generators.
Only used them for a move-out clean, but price was very competitive and the unit was left spotless. I am very happy with my choice to use this company.

We found our doctor's for our dog. This was our first visit, and we could not be more pleased. We were greeted with smiles by the front desk staff, the doctor and assistant were so easy to talk to and they explained everything. Dr Greg treated both my mini dachshunds for IVDD with med's and accupuncture, thus avoiding expensive surgeries. Recently, he treated one of my dachshunds with a broken jaw. He consulted with a specialist to determine the recommended course of treatment and possible outcome, saving me $5,000 for surgery. He treated her and followed up weekly until her broken jaw was repaired. I have depended on Dr.Greg to take care of my animals for several years. I like his patient, kind demeanor no matter what he is faced with and I will continue going to him in the future.
I live 5.5 hours away, yet I still choose Animal Medical Center in Covington, LA for my two rescue dogs. Every time I try a closer clinic (out of necessity), I’m reminded why AMC is worth the trip.
