My hair color was matched perfectly, and Amy got the cut right - which has been tricky for other stylists. I always have to explain what I want and she seemed to understand without much explanation. “I recently moved to the Covington area and have been searching for a new nail tech after leaving my longtime Russian manicure specialist in Baton Rouge. I’m very particular about my nails because I prefer builder gel on my natural nails versus acrylics, so I went into this appointment a little cautious and honestly prepared to possibly be disappointed since I’m used to one specific person doing my nails for years.

I found this nail salon on google and it said they offered builder gel services, and I’m so glad I gave them a chance. My nail tech, I believe her name was Keem/Kim (I apologize if I’m spelling it incorrectly), did an absolutely beautiful job. She really listened when I explained the style and look I usually go for, understood exactly what I wanted, and executed it perfectly. The attention to detail was amazing, and my nails came out so clean and natural-looking.

Everyone in the salon was also very friendly and welcoming. I booked an appointment ahead of time, checked in, and was taken right back without a long wait, which I appreciated. The whole experience felt professional, relaxing, and efficient.

I didn’t get a pedicure this visit, but the pedicures looked so relaxing that I definitely plan to come back for one soon. Overall, they absolutely made a returning client out of me, and I’m very happy I found a new spot here in Covington.“

Since my last review I’ve become a loyal customer to P & D Nails and try to visit at least once a month. Kisha continues to be my “go to” person because she specializes in removing my ingrown toe nails. My last visit was yesterday 11/4/25 and as always she never disappoints. Her attention to detail is phenomenal as well as attitude. She goes out of limb to choose the best days and times for scheduling me because I’m a special case. Thanks Nisha for taking care of me.
