“AC went out during the heatwave, told me what it would cost to fix but highly recommended a new unit (the price to temp fix a 20 year unit was crazy in comparison to just getting a new unit). Had a salesperson out same day, looked at what I had and what was needed, and gave me a few options. All reasonably and competitively priced. Biggest + is that it was a no pressure purchase. Gave me a few days to think about it and talk it over, answered any questions and even offered some alternative solutions. Turnaround time was about a work week.

Installation was a 1 day, painless process and the unit looks great!

“Competent ,knowledge but pricey. Tech was late to the appointment and had to come next day to finish the job. They charged three separate fees, service call fee, labor fee and diagnosis fee, which was little confusing. Their refrigerant rate was more than double then a competitor ( $ 210 per lbs for R-410) which substantially increased the cost of repair. The tech was knowledgeable and diagnose the issue/leak in evaporator coil, however would get second estimate from competitor to ensure being offered a fair price.“

“We have the annual maintenance plan with polestar that comes with the heating/AC tune up which also comes with the annual plumbing inspection. The technicians are always polite and professional, which is important because my family is typically at the house at the same time. Recently, Rico completed a plumbing inspection for us and did a great job. He was able to explain some things he found and advised recommendations he had. He also mentioned that our water pressure was low and offered to change it based on our preferences. We will continue to use polestar because the price is competitive. And we feel we get a lot of value from them.“

I had a thermostat from evergy sitting by on my coffee table and he offered to install it, and make sure everything was working properly. 3 days later I get a phone call just to make sure everything is still working the way it should. “My most recent appointment was just a maintenance visit to check our furnace. The technician was great, but he was about an hour late which was a little inconvenient - thus the 4 stars. The lady who called me to tell me he was on his way "if that was okay" called after the scheduled arrival time, and she didn't apologize that he was running late. Not a big deal, but I would have expected an apology which I did get when the technician arrived.“
