I took a Vibe Dance class and Elizabeth was AMAZING — high energy, encouraging, and so fun. Even with my limited dance experience, I was able to move, groove, and actually keep up without feeling intimidated. The whole studio has such a positive, uplifting vibe. Left feeling confident, sweaty, and happy. I will 100% be back!“

10344 Mastin St, Overland Park“As a woman who has spent several years away from the gym focusing on the yoga studio, I have been reinvigorated by joining the Body Shop Gym. I knew that I wanted to return to the gym and work on strength training. With so many years away from the weight lifting equipment, I was looking for a trainer to show me around the gym and challenge my current fitness level. The body shop matched me with Erica, and she has been amazing! She has shown me how to operate almost every piece of equipment in the gym in about one month. We have a session once a week. I highly recommend hiring a trainer, at least once a week, to help challenge and encourage you. With Erica's guidance, I am already feeling increased strength and can see my muscles getting tight and toned . The best part is when I go to the gym I am not intimidated by any of the equipment! This is the perfect gym for someone that is serious about training, but doesn't want to pay for all of the extras that you would get at a large fitness facility. I highly recommend the Body Shop and Erica is a great trainer. Everyone at the gym is friendly and welcoming.“

Gym and locker room are always clean, and locker room has quite a few upgrades and updates compared to other locations. I do wish the showers had a shelf or cubby for me to put my body wash and such so I don't have to put it on the ground. It'd also be nice if the showers had doors like some other locations instead of curatins.
Members seem nice, not judgemental, and seems like they do a good job cleaning up after themselves. I very rarely have to wait for equipment to be available. Lots of people I see in there are regulars. I currently split time between locations, but go to this one 2-3 times a week, and I prefer tjis location over the other one I go to more often due to my schedule.“

My son and I have different goals and workouts but he was able to work with us both at the same time so it was convenient and allowed us to have a mother/son activity together. The environment is wonderful since he really limits how many people are there at one time. We often have the place to ourselves or just one other person. That personal attention is great. I appreciate Ryan’s techniques and how he is able to push both my son and I just enough to feel good and get stronger. Highly recommend!“

Whatever your goals are, they are there to help you achieve them.It's not over-crowded so I feel safe with Covid precautions - I can stay distant from others and they are good about cleaning equipment. Don't feel like I need to wear a mask to work-out. All the staff is vaccinated.The equipment is abundant and they have accommodations for woman, which is wonderful. Also there are enough trainers that I can always come when I need to and they will accommodate my busy schedule.Most importantly again are the skills and quality of the trainers. They know what they are doing and will keep you safe and also help you achieve your goals. They are serious about success!!“

“Transformative would be the word I chose to describe my experience. I have tried diets, fasting, books, and various workout routines (over a decade of these attempts).
