Bob at Airflow Systems has been our go-to HVAC expert for 2+ years. We bought an old house with 7 thermostats and Bob has helped us figure out and understand all the subtle nuances of each zone and either fixed/replaced a number of the existing parts inside of the various systems. He even came over on a holiday to troubleshoot the radiant heat for our basement guest-room in advance of my visiting mother-in-law. I'd recommend Bob any day of the week.

They did a great job with how fast they were while also making sure that they gave me the medium fade i asked for. Their rate was equivalent for their work at $25 for a medium skin fade with a little off the top.

We recently had Carlos and his team clear out some of our berm and plant some arborvitaes. His team is wonderful and they did an amazing job! What stands out with Carlos is his communication. He responds to phone calls and texts quickly. He is very knowledgeable and clearly explains what needs to be done. I highly recommend Carlos and will definitely use him again!
Had 2 trees trimmed and one tree removed. Steve's service came on time and did the job with no fuss. they were careful about not damaging my fence and cleaned up afterward. It was a reasonable price that was the same as the orginal quote. I would use Steve's Tree Service again.

Grew up in Chicago, in a mostly Latino neighborhood. Yo hablo muy pocito Espanol. Though I try. Young woman, we'll call Alma, washed, cut, styled beard for $25. Have not seen those prices in years.
I appreciated my practice of using my Spanish words to have a conversation with Alma. She was very forgiving of words I did not pronounce correctly. Never did she correct me in my speech.
Also had a meaningful conversation with a gentlemen we'll call José.
This is a great place to get a great haircut for a fraction of what most other barbers charge and expect the tip to be accommodating to the price. Juniors Barbershop is a local place i will go to again.

Love that pedicure tools are in plastic and opened in front of you so you know they are clean. The callus remover tool is also sanitized. So many mail places take the short cuts that leave you with fungus or infection. Thank you!!!

A storm cut the power to my home which resulted in me finding out the hard way that my battery backup for my sump pump failed which resulted in a flooded basement. I initially called a well-known local company to come give a quote on whatever needed to be fixed. I was told the reason why my backup system failed was because I didn’t put in an Ion Genesis battery when I replaced the battery. That didn’t make sense because there wasn’t an Ion Genesis battery in it prior to when it did work. I quickly brushed off that information and googled a company that is experienced with the Ion Genesis system. Sump Pump Medic came up with excellent reviews and are situated close to my home. I emailed the company on a Saturday night and received an email back on Sunday which happened to be Father’s Day. I was surprised to get a response back so quickly and to top that an appointment the next day to come out and assess the problem.
Acey called before he came by and quickly figured out what the problem was with my older but sophisticated Ion Genesis system. He noticed that there were multiple issues. One issue was the battery backup system and a water sensor alarm that kept sounding. We discussed all the issues and ultimately he replaced a switch that would accurately read my water level and fixed one of the pumps. He explained the home maintenance we need to do every quarter and gave us options to replace the battery backup issue. He had what he needed with him to fix the alarm and water sensor issue. He also came prepared with a folder of appropriate material on the ion genesis systems for us to look at for replacements.
Acey gave my husband and I so much peace of mind. We finally were able to get some information on this system that we acquired when we bought our house. It’s been challenging to find information online. Acey knows what he is doing and he will be our go to guy for any sump pump issues and yearly check ups we need for the future. All around excellent! Would recommend.
Fantastic job fixing an awful mess. We got home from Christmas vacation to a puddle on the floor and an ugly water stain on the ceiling. The folks at Spielman responded to our call in a timely manner and came out the next day(we shut off the water supply so the damage stopped). Dan explained the problem, old plastic hoses and gave me a couple of options. We decided to change out the faucets and upgrade the old plastic hoses to 2026 standards. Honest, knowledgeable, and courteous.
Al and his group are fantastic! Moved into a new-to-me home and had Visco Electric inspect the whole house. Al walked me through everything he found as well as presented me with all of my options. He was very informative and took great care of us. I would highly recommend!

They came yesterday and they installed three new 20 amp circuits, one for a dedicated microwave circuit in kitchen and two additional to the garage. They were on time, cleaned up after themselves, tested everything, labeled all and reviewed with me at completion. All at a reasonable cost. Recently needed new carpeting for the 1st floor of our home. Stopped at a few carpet/flooring stores, including Roger’s on Rte #59, in West Chicago. Had 2 leaky showers and RQC went down to the studs and replaced both. Paid attention to containing the dust and keeping things covered and clean. Licensed contractors did the plumbing, great quality work. Tile guys and demo were great as well. Very transparent on pricing, attention to detail throughout the process. Highly recommend. Please educate your drivers on zipper merging, it is the most efficient and safest way to merge into one lane. One of your red pick up trucks blocked both lanes on 59 only causing more of a traffic jam on the road, which technically is illegal in Illinois

We hired Daniel and My Landscape Contractor to install a gravel pad in our backyard in preparation for a new shed. Daniel came out to quote the work and pointed out a few additional considerations to the project that hadn't even occurred to me. When he and his crew came out to perform the work, he made sure to confirm the exact plan before getting started. I am really happy with his work and would highly recommend him for outdoor projects.
Norma and her team are the best. They work quickly, efficiently and are fair and reasonable for their projects. Our lawn looks great. They are specific about the type of grass seed they use that works for shady vs sunny areas and offer helpful suggestions of what’s needed to improve drainage. We entrusted this team to make a safe kid play set area with mulch. They went above and beyond and our expectations are more than met. They put multiple layers of ground cover to keep the weeds and grass out and layered the kid-safe mulch so there won’t be any metal scrap surprises in there for a child to land on and get tetanus. I appreciate their attention to detail in their work. They do planting and stone work. They added a nice stone landscaping circle when our huge spruce fell and left a bare spot. Now it’s a beautiful flower garden.Just had Norma and her team freshen up (power wash and polymeric sand) on our stone patio. It used to be missy and had grass and weeds poking through. There was even acrylic paint on some of the stones. They got it so clean and suggested the polymeric product for less maintenance. Very very happy with their work.
Fall 2023 had an in ground pool installed and realized we would need our whole yard restored. And at the same time (this spring 2024) also had contractors putting in both a pavilion and wire/cedar fence. Struggled with finding the right landscaping company. We asked our pool installer (who by the way did an excellent job also) what landscapers they felt complimented their pools the best. They suggested JG Landscape as one of the most professional and cleanest in their work. Couldn’t have been more right. We offered up our thoughts and they came back to us with designs. They installed hardscape around/under the pavilion and pool. Installed a stream water feature and multiple plants. Rock gardens and mulch. Unilock walkway entrance to our home. They did this in a timely fashion and were able to work their schedule around our other projects. Not a regret in the world going with this company (Juan and Gabriel owners). The owners and their crew were “no non-sense” hard workers making sure they were dedicated to making their client (us) 100% happy with their work. You could see/feel the pride they took in our landscape project. Nothing but compliments from our friends on our newly found “resort”. Lucky and glad we found JG Landscaping.

Matt and his team come out today and took down a huge dead tree for us, along with a lot of branches and debris that came down from the recent storms. The tree was in a tricky location on a fence line with power lines running through it. It was a BIG job! Matt has a GREAT team and they did a FANTASTIC job!
We will be having them back in the fall to take out another tree and do some additional clean-up around fence and power lines where the power company doesn’t assist.

The gentlemen were next day The branch that came down on top of my roof, they did it safely without damaging anything else by taking the branch off the roof safely I was willing to pay more than the other quotes. because I knew that they were gonna do a job without causing other damage. they’ve been in business for 57 years, knowing their workmanship was on a high level
