Zack does an excellent job from start to finish, whether big or small projects- it doesn't matter. We provide electrical services to him and he is great to work for. He does it right and does not cut corners (unless you specifically ask him to cut corners, like for our new crown molding!) I asked about a tricky installation to a sloped ceiling at our house. We had called 4 carpenters who said that it was impossible without putting transition blocks in the corners. It was a small job, so we weren't sure that Zack would have time. He said that it was within his wheelhouse and got us scheduled to the first opening he had. Zack texted on the way to confirm and set up tarps once he arrived. After a practice cut and a few modifications, he got to work. He is incredibly patient, but efficient at the same time. When he finished there were a several little triangle cuts in the trash and he never needed the spare 12 footer that we bought just in case. It turned out perfectly and we get all kinds of compliments about our updated great room!
Basement flooded and i had no idea what to do. Friend recommended Ambiance as he had good service from them in the past. They had an employee at my place in about an hour and got right to work. Whole job was done within a few days. Hope i have no more issues in the future, but if i do i have their number saved. They also remodeling from what i understand so might start looking into updating my kitchen.
I had purchased a Radon monitor and put it in my basement - I was horrified to find that I had Radon over double the threshold recommended to get a Radon mitigation system installed. (we had lived in the house for 18 years and had NO idea!). I shopped around pretty extensively and was also horrified at the costs associated with these systems. After speaking with multiple companies and feeling like I was being scammed I had the great fortune to meet Steve Kostro of Inspect It Chicago. Steve is a straight-shooter, he educated me on all of the options, quality of materials and systems available. They were absolutely reasonable in their pricing and when the day came to install the system their team showed up and I was very impressed. They were obviously highly trained, accommodated all of my requests about how the system was installed and answered all of my questions. Once it was operating for a few days they came back out to install a muffler on the system because of the noise that I noticed from the back yard - which completely took care of the problem. I rarely take the time to write a review of a company that does what they are supposed to do, but in this case... Steve Kostro and Inspect IT Chicago earned my respect. I've been rehabbing houses for over 30 years and I will never call anyone else to install a Radon mitigation system. Great job guys.
Elisio Salinas is extremely kind, professional and responsive. Elisio gives great recommendations on landscaping ideas and is prompt at communication. His crew does outstanding work and the quality is top notch; they do great brick work. We had our patio and retaining wall done along with landscaping. I have been impressed every time we use them.
