A storm cut the power to my home which resulted in me finding out the hard way that my battery backup for my sump pump failed which resulted in a flooded basement. I initially called a well-known local company to come give a quote on whatever needed to be fixed. I was told the reason why my backup system failed was because I didn’t put in an Ion Genesis battery when I replaced the battery. That didn’t make sense because there wasn’t an Ion Genesis battery in it prior to when it did work.
