“I recently set up an appointment for 11:30 in the morning, but somehow completely forgot what time the appointment was for (single parent life, am I right). Even after sending the confirmation text that my appointment was for *11:30* in the morning, I planned my whole day around being there at 2:00 in the afternoon. It was only after the assistant/receptionist couldn’t find my appointment that I looked back at the confirmation and realized my mistake. No worries, he said, and he got me seated and started right away. I want to start with Dr. Bill Brand. I had tried contact lenses decades ago and gave up because I could never find a pair that fit right. When he suggested I try again, I was skeptical, but he found a new brand and gave me samples to test. I struggled to get them in at first, so I brought a mirror he taught me himself. His instructions were clear and easy to follow, and he was patient with me despite my long fingernails. He showed me how to clean my hands properly, which solutions to buy, and why each step mattered. He also let me test a few different lens strengths until we found the right fit for my eyes.
Dr. Jason Brand handled getting the contacts ordered for me, and his assistant Michelle made the whole process smooth. She checked stock, was transparent about cost, gave me a timeline, and kept me updated.
