My red oak floors on my main level are 50+ years old and needed refinishing. Jerry explained the process up front in good detail and the pricing was very fair. He uses high quality finishing materials with a full cure in three days - very important so that you don’t need your furniture displaced for too long. Always on time, good communication throughout, and easily accommodating to my schedule over the three days of work in my home. And just as Jerry promised, absolutely NO dust. “Ada did a great job repairing and refinishing 3 wood floors. These floors were in poor shape, nothing done to them in 65+ years and they look new now. Andrei was great to work with. They moved some furniture and came back to put it back a month later. This gave me time to have the rooms painted. Great place!“

“I bought a house and upon getting inside, we realized the red oak hardwood floors were covered with some kind of top finish that was mixed with dog hair. There were some dingy areas from sun exposure and areas with darkening from water. I called them on a Monday morning, Sam came over that same morning and gave me a quote, and they started on Tuesday. The floors and stairs looked fabulous after their work! I was worried (ok, paranoid) about dust since I'm quite allergic. As a hobby woodworker with a lot of dust capture equipment, Arlington Hardwood must use some serious filters and vacuums because I didn't think it was possible to leave that little dust behind. There was just a tiny bit on flat surfaces that had the consistency of flour. The floors are now gorgeous and I'm so glad we had them done before moving anything into the house. I only wish he did Zelle for payment. One thing I really like is that the owner actually does the work, so you know it will be done well, and you're getting his experience.“

“Z and his team are awesome to work with! We had a tricky job trying to make Brazilian cherry look less red. Z provided a bunch of samples before hand and then some more on the actual floor when he started the job to find the right color.

His team was really nice, always on time, and so fast! They did our whole house in less than a week. Definitely recommend using Z for any job!

“Norris is a topnotch professional from estimate to installation. My original maple and oak floors were under layers of old tile, linoleum, and glued particle board. Norris came and he conquered, in record time. His prices are competitive, he was consistently on time and worked efficiently. His skill and knowledge are evident in the great results he gets. He knows wood floors and the beauty they can bring to a home.“

“Three words to describe Stefan: dependable, hardworking and meticulous. I hired him to fix many things in my house. For example, he completely redid the upstairs bathroom. He also put in new tile on the kitchen floor , entryway , guest bath, new fixtures and more. The previous contractor had done things incorrectly causing damage as well as looking badly. I found out quickly that Stefan is a perfectionist in the best way when he redid the tiling on the kitchen floor because it was off by just a tiny bit. You can tell he really wants to make sure things are done correctly. He is a great communicator and we talked often about the details of the project. Stefan always made sure I knew what was happening. I also discovered he has a great eye for design as I had to choose tiles and other things; his opinions which I asked for led to some great changes in the choices I made. If you want someone that’s reliable, who works hard and who will make sure you know what’s happening at every stage of the project, hire Stefan and his team.“

“I am a general contractor who recently hired Get Flooring to do some repair work for an existing client in Chicago. The tile repair work on the exterior of the commercial building definitely met my expectations as did the help from Jacob Fraker, who was awesome and communicated clearly throughout the project, in calls and emails. I had no issues whatsoever, and don’t think there are any areas to improve on this project, it went smoothly and Jacob helped document the existing conditions prior to the repair work and explained exactly why it occurred and worked with my superintendent on site to complete the work on time, as well as helping solve some problems that came up during the process. The quality of the work was excellent, they performed safely, used hardhats and fall protection throughout, cleaned up after themselves and did a great job.
