Joel is engaging and fun to learn from and truly takes time and a genuine interest in each child as an individual. He is very compassionate and meets each child where they are at in their musical development and fosters growth. Jen is amazing on the piano and has a lovely gentle warmth that makes each child feel safe to learn and make strides forward in their knowledge and growth. First experience at this local barber shop. I arrived a few minutes (2) late, and it was not an issue at all. Not confrontation. Elijah asked how I wanted my hair done, and I showed him photos saved on my phone from how my barber on the northside of Chicago would cut it - high fade with finger length scissors cut on top. He finished the haircut in 35 minutes and was very swift yet thoughtful in his approach. He asked me questions in a conversational manner in the beginning but it didn't distract from the task at hand. This is a great local spot worth considering for a haircut. Lots of younger children with parents, those in their 20's, and above 30's - like me! Thanks again.

I’ve been looking for a place that is clean and friendly and does beautiful nails and pedis and I found it! It was by accident actually I work 8-5pm so it’s hard for me during the week I called first and they close late. I got my pedi done first and it was amazing then I got nails. I got a pink chrome cat eye, so beautiful!! Cristina is amazing and she’s Latina, we talked, she was very nice and I loved her vibe! So talented and love her work. Since I walked out of the nail place everyone and I mean everyone always compliments my nails. I love them. Thank you Cristina I will be booking my appointments with you moving forward.
The owner at seat 2 always does my nails and they’re perfect every time! $50 for full set acrylic with gel polish and never an issue with my nails. They’re so natural looking, thinner than other local salons, yet last so much longer and are so much prettier! Can’t beat the service and price. I’ve been coming here for nearly 15 years through the ownership changes and will always keep coming back because I love everything about it so much. Thank you, always!

Megalash Studio has been my go to for both extensions and lash lift since 2015 for their craftsmanship and cleanliness but their willingness to listen to customer needs and their friendliness is amazing as well. Through the years I've moved for school and work and have trialed other places but nothing can compare to the curl/lift that their lash lift gives and how long their extensions stay on and so I always come back to Megalash when I was back in town. Even now, living in Wisconsin, I will travel back to Megalash everytime and their hours are convenient for scheduling.
Their new location is easily accessible, ample parking and actually even more beneficial given the large volume of other businesses within the building. It is like a one stop beauty depot! Plus the surrounding shopping and restaurants makes it easy to plan a whole day to yourself or with friends!

Stylist: My sister in law has multiple tattoos done by Joanna, and I have loved each one. So when the time came for me to get another tattoo I knew I wanted her to do it. Joanna was great during the design process. She took the basic rough ideas I had and created a beautiful sleeve. She made sure I liked (I loved) every part design and worked with me on the small changes I wanted done to one part of design. Day of getting the tattoo, she took her time with the stencil and its placement making sure it was in just the right position for how my arm moves. If I didn't know about her work previously, that alone proved how much she is dedicated to making sure the work was going to be perfect. During the session, she made sure I was doing okay and if I needed a break. 8.5 hrs later, I have this beautiful sleeve that I can't stop staring at. I LOVE IT!

I called Stephens Plumbing and Heating after I was told by another company (that I have a service plan with for many years) that I needed a new HVAC unit ASAP. They quoted me around $15K, and when the tech left, he asked how soon I would be doing this. I told him it wasn't on the immediate horizon, and after showing pictures on how bad my furnace was, he said it should be. I called this group for a 2nd opinion, and the tech, David, said while I do need a new unit at some point, he eased my mind there were no safety concerns, like the tech from the other group said, and fixed a small part rather than replacing the whole unit. So $300 versus $15K? I'll call Stephens every time.
Repaired a stuck overflow drain plug in shower by using a sprinkler wrench after we tried everything else we could think of. Patrick's creativity was able to save us time, frustration and money as he was able to avoid having to cut holes in drywall. He also installed multiple pop up drains in different bathrooms for us. I called on a Saturday told him what was going with my fridge he said it's the motherboard and would check to see if he could get one close by he called me said couldn't get till Monday called me Monday said he was on his way to my house showed up about 30mins later pulled fridge out replaced the motherboard and like magic fridge back in service and off he was. I now have his number and he's my guy if I needed

Carla and her team did a phenomenal job! I was struggling to find a cleaning service during a holiday weekend, and most places were scheduled so far out. She replied immediately after reaching out and worked with us to find a good time. We had them do a deep clean, and they paid attention to every corner, and before leaving, made sure to ask if we were satisfied with their service. This is not to say anything of Carla's kindness and congeniality as a human being. She truly believes in serving her clients not just as customers but as human beings. They are very open to any feedback I have for them And will implement any recommendations I ask them to do without any complaints. You can see that they do a very thorough job cleaning of cabinets and furniture dusting- carefully taking things off the shelf to dust the entire shelf. Also, they are always prompt and on time and There has been only one time in two years that they’ve had to reschedule me for their own reasons! We had used Rich and his team for refinishing our original 1957 oak floors back in 2019 (they still look great!!), so we called them to see if they could help us repurpose some leftover Pergo LVP from our kitchen remodel to redo our stairs, as well as match the original stain to blend the transitions into the kitchen. Bradford & Kent was great to work with from design through construction. During design, Greg took time to listen to our wish list and came up with a great design combining our too small dining room and outdate kitchen layout with a larger, more functional space. The 3D views he provided gave us confidence in the overall layout. We even have cabinet space that we have not used yet.
Mary Kate patiently attended to our cabinet, counter and fixture selection as we went through the tremendous variety of each. She even steered us away from selections that, now that the kitchen has been completed, we are completely happy with.
Brian was great during construction keeping us informed and up to date on all construction activities. All construction projects have their unexpected challenges and ours was no exception. The few small issues that did arise were quickly and happily addressed by Brian and his team.
We rated Americraft as EXCELLENT because they are. We had a complete kitchen and dining remodel along with lighting and cosmetic work in the living room. All the craftsmen were respectful and friendly and really cared about their work. The crew cleaned up the entire area every day (sweep, vacuum) so that when we returned each evening we were truly amazed.

When the time came to replace our 110-year-old garage, I only contacted Blue Sky. We were extremely pleased with the level of detail, communication, professionalism, knowledge, and, of course, the final product. Building in a historic district in Oak Park is, to be kind, a huge chafe. But these guys have the kind of expertise and responsiveness that minimizes a lot of the friction that can come with this kind of project, which started when they said it would, and took EXACTLY as long as estimated.

Both dentists are amazing and have fantastic staff. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable, talented and efficient. The place is clean and they practice superb protocols for sterilization and preventing cross-contamination in the rooms.
A membership is offered for those of us who don’t have dental insurance. It’s really generous and helps a great deal for me. I used to work in the dental field so I am extremely picky. This is my unicorn dental office!
Dr. Jackson and staff have been caring for my family’s dentistry needs for several years. We’ve been through lots of cleanings, fillings, and most recently my son had a tooth pulled. Quick and painless. Dr. Jackson is very factual and down to earth with his recommendations. Quick and efficient with his treatments. The hygienists are all amazing *shout out to Stephanie!* The front staff are always kind and accommodating. As a medical nerd I’m always excited to see the latest new technology that Dr. Jackson is collecting- he keeps up with advances in his field and is always first to embrace new software, imaging, and equipment. I am so happy to have found Jackson Family Dentistry.

Dr. P and Lola are wonderful. They took their time to make sure my root canal was done perfectly. They helped fight a persistent infection; and saved my tooth from being extracted.
I chipped a tooth and they got me in same day. The receptionist Liselle, dental assistant Dahlia, and Dr. Khan were all very kind, answered my many questions, and the repaired chip looks beautiful.
I had once gone to a dentist that removed my eye tooth. The same dentist then wanted to remove another tooth. I was then referred to Dr. P from a co-worker, and I can't tell you how thankful I am for the referral.
My whole family now see's Dr. P and my sister as well.
Dr. P is the most gentle dentist out there, and has no judgement on how your teeth are, and only aims to help. My oldest son had his wisdom teeth out, and it didn't even hurt.

Saw Dr Brody and put together a plan for my pinched nerve. Trigger point massage, physical therapy exercises, decompression of the spine, and over a few weeks the pain went away. I can also feel my posture getting better as I heal. Great team!
I have been seeing Dr. Erick and staff and the issues I have had with my sciatica, hip and knee issues are 80% resolved. I can get around much easier and im in much less pain. Thank you Dr. Erick and staff you do a great job

Dr. Sarah Montesa is an extraordinarily gifted healer with a comprehensive set of skills. She applied Reiki and Acupuncture as we worked on healing some painful childhood trauma that had settled in my body. Dr. Montesa listened carefully and responded with sensitivity and intuition.Each of our sessions left me feeling lighter, less burdened , able to function more clearly in my daily life. For the first time in 7 decades I experienced a wholeness and vitality.Of course, we were partners and I actively focused on healing these old hurts between our sessions. I've been seeing Dr. Hartman for about a year now. I have fibromyalgia, a pinch nerve in my neck, severe pain in both knees, very bad back pain, asthma and allergies, a host of other issues and also major sinus problems. Dr. Hartman is extremely compassionate and very caring, and he goes above and beyond for his patients . He addresses whatever ailment you have and works directly with you to make you feel better. I have chronic illnesses, and since seeing Dr. Hartman I've definitely seen improvement. My husband goes to him also and we are both very active people and he has helped us both tremendously. We especially like our massages from Dayanne!?
While I am not a patient of his I have attended a few seminars that he teaches. Dr. Gatto is very knowledgeable and patient. I've learned much from him and look forward to attending more of the seminars he teaches. Thank you Dr. Gatto.
I have had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Kennedy and Casey for quite a few years. Whether I've had an injury at work or have overdone things around the house I can count on them to get me back in action quickly. I especially appreciate that Dr. Kennedy takes her time to explain how the body gets off track and what her treatments are doing to help you heal. Massages by Casey are not just relaxing but provide lasting relief from pain and tension. An extra benefit is that Dr. Kennedy only recommends what is truly necessary, no pressure for repeated appointments like some larger "corporate" practices. Just a wonderful experience all around!
I saw Dr. Brewer for an old sports related injury that has driven an increase in pain after hitting 35 years or so. I'd tried numerous chiropractors and acupuncturists in the Downers Grove area with no lasting improvement. I was in almost constant pain when I finally discovered Dr. Brewer. While I haven't seen him in well over a year or so, the treatment he suggested worked for me and I have seen lasting improvement. I'm 100% pain free and attribute that entirely to him and his treatment. I'm forever grateful! Highly recommend...if I could give 10 stars, I would!

Dr. DeCubellis and team have been highly informative and helpful in understanding the healing process as well as what needs to be maintained go forward. They regularly host seminars educating others on important spinal / neurological health concepts and encourage questions from patients for a great patient experience.
Dr Bognet is smart, friendly and talented. She explains whatever treatment needs to be, and offers easily understood options when possible. In addition, she is aware of my medical history and I appreciate the continuity which she takes into account.
Dr. Reddy was kind, efficient and friendly. She was thorough with my exam and knowledgeable. She explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. Will definitely be going back. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

He’s definitely not the easiest dog to handle and is not a fan of vet visits, yet Dr. Andy and his remarkable team always treat him with so much care, gentleness, and respect. They consistently go above and beyond to make Osito feel safe and comfortable.

Jr loves seeing his girlfriends at Holistic vet services. He loves Dr. Katz, he gives Hugs & kisses to her every time. He’s so excited when you say ok you’re going by Dr. Katz today. We can’t say her name without his ears going up, him prancing around, looking out the window for her! She is fantastic all around the best Dr. Johnny ever had. Worth every penny. She treats the whole body not just one particular issue. She talks you through everything, she explains in great detail, sends home a list of things to watch for, to eat, how too take care of situations. I recommend her to everyone I talk to. Johnny was so afraid, & scared, of his other vet that I knew I had to change. It’s been 4 years that he’s been with Dr. Katz she and her team have worked with him he’s whole character, attitude, personality has changed for the BEST! he was even afraid of the water. What lab do we know that’s afraid of the water? Garden hose, pool, etc u name it he was afraid. Completely different animal now. He had many health issues, he was misdiagnosed by the previous vet SEVERAL TIMES. I found out that he was OVER VACCINATED by his previous vet. Dr Katz had her hands full in the very beginning. I can’t say enough about Dr Katz and her team! Fantastic ladies! If your looking or thinking about changing vets for your animal. Don’t think just DO with Dr. Katz. The best decision I ever made. I should have started with her when he was 8 weeks old! That’s my only regret. Jr loves these ladies.

My experience with Downer's Grove Animal Hospital was very pleasant. I needed a USDA health certificate to travel with my dog and they were very efficient in getting it done quickly.
Tammy answered all of my questions and prepared everything needed for my dog's health certificate. Dr. Graham did an exam on my dog and had a very kind demeanor throughout our appointment which is always appreciated.
I travel very often with my dog and even still, there's a lot of really confusing information on the web about what's required for specific countries when traveling with a pet (and that can get stressful quick) but Downers Grove Animal Hospital made sure I had all of the information I needed and I ended up getting the health certificate back the same day, which was a relief. Results may vary as the hospital isn't responsible for when the USDA processes the health certificate but I would highly recommend this animal hospital for their overall efficiency and thoroughness.

Dana was so great with our pups! Our pit is almost 17 and has senior pup issues and she was so amazing with him. Our pups were cute and happy when we picked them up. We have 4 dogs and we’ve been searching for the right groomer and so glad we found her. Thank you! We will see you soon :)

Love this yoga studio; they offer a variety of classes for all levels and all types of yoga. I like their hot signature series. And will be trying Power Yoga soon. Very clean and organized studio and all instructors and staff been great!
This was one of the most remarkable vacations I've taken and probably the best yoga retreat ever! Laura Jane offers something for everyone, from the twice-daily yoga practices, to the remarkable accommodations and food, and the wonderful daily excursions. I saw parts of France regular tourists miss and did it with an amazing group of yogis -- everyone was so welcoming and friendly. This is the fourth retreat I've done with Laura Jane, and it was truly "next level". I've already signed up for next year's retreat to Spain.

Yoga By Degrees offers a wide variety of yoga classes. I recently took a Traditional Hot class at the Downers Grove location. It is a Bikram style practice which is done in 105 F and 40% humidity. The instructor Brian was informative and motivating. His energetic style of teaching was enjoyable and fun.The only thing missing from the experience was the efficient balance between heat and humidity. The room wasn't hot enough to brake the sweat.
Jennifer is super friendly & understanding. I got my wife a prenatal massage for Mother’s Day & was worth every penny. Strongly advise everyone to do the same!
Heather was incredibly friendly and warm immediately upon meeting her and her suite was very comfortable and soothing. The massage was unbelievable!! It is hands down the best deep tissue massage I've ever gotten. I felt incredible afterwards! I'll definitely go back and recommend you do as well!

Attending SOHMAR was a life-changing experience. The education I received was thorough and covered a wide range of massage therapy techniques that prepared me well for the MBLEx, which I’m proud to say I passed!
What stood out most was how well the program supported adult learners the instructors showed real patience, kindness, and understanding throughout. They truly respected that many of us were balancing school with jobs and families.
The hands-on training helped build real confidence, and I walked away not only with a massage therapy diploma but also with lifelong friends.
